They have amazing garden, nice restaurant with reasonable prices. The bed .. oh my god, the bed was the most comfortable bed in my life so far. Room was well equipped, cozy and clean. Bathroom was also clean and modern! Totally recommend!

The hotel felt like a slice of heaven. The story behind the hotel was heartwarming, but also what they offered to the local community appeared very gracious. The bed in the room was massive, it was so nice to be able to have a really large bathroom with all amenities. The noise level was low made us feel safe and the staff made us feel rlvery reassured for our onward journey.

Everything was perfect. First of all, we appreciate we were allowed to checked in at 11am, as we arrived earlier to visit the Plitvice Lakes. The location is ideal, just up to 10 mins walk to the entrance #3 where there are no queues (but purchase the tickets online before your visit). The room was perfectly neat, had a mini-fridge, shampoo, soap and gel shower, a lovely balcony. And what we liked the best - is the owners' hospitality. We were treated with schnapps a couple of times )) We took a dinner and were offered a tasty one with a meze, a main course + a dessert. We also took a breakfast which fulfilled us for a long road. We absolutely recommend this place to stay, even for a 1 night stay!

The apartment was a great size and well equipped. We had all the kitchen necessities and the host was always available if we needed him. Everyone is very kind. We tried several very tasty dishes in the restaurant. We recommend that you visit the restaurant at least once because the ambiance is pleasant, the food is excellent and the prices are fair.

Beautiful house and gardens with well-thought out sitting areas so you could enjoy privacy despite there being other guests, perfect location close to national park entrance 2, the pool was a real bonus after a day exploring, very efficient, friendly and helpful staff.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and...
A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.
The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.
Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park.
Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

Wonderful place!
Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna.
The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...).
An excellent choice, highly recommended!

I think this place for relaxing like our Carpathians in Ukraine. Calm, nature, views and just you (at least in the evening).
I stayed for one night because visited Plitvice lakes. For that trip in my opinion this place not very suitable - 8km from the park. You can get there just by car or taxi. There is no public transport or I don’t know about it.

The only negative was the Property description, indicating that the lakes are a 15 minute walk from the Villa. This should read that it is a 15 minutes walk to the entrance of the woods, after which there is about a 2km walk to Plitvice Lake Entrance 2 where you buy your tickets!
