From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Whether it was recommendations for local spots or prompt service, their hospitality was top-notch.
The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable, with plush bedding and all the modern amenities you'd expect. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is peaceful and inviting.
If you're looking for a serene coastal retreat with stunning views, outstanding service, and exceptional comfort, I can't recommend Hotel Vallum enough.

Really lovely apartments, very spacious and clean. Perfect for travelling with children or in a group.
The facilities were great, everything you needed including a washing machine.
It’s well located for the centre of Cavtat as it’s only an 8 min walk down to the front via the steps or the road.
The pool is a fabulous addition and harder to come by that close to the centre.
The hosts were really welcoming and very helpful.
Would stay here again!

Perfect location, very convenient and easy accessible. The hotel is within 2-3 minutes easy walk to the bus station to the Old Town. The pool was a lovely oasis. Our room was big and a comfortable. The buffer breakfast included in our room rate was delicious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating

The apartment was fantastic, the host was super nice and helpful during our whole stay. The location of the apartment is also great, the beach is only a few minutes walk, grocery store and bus stop are also very close, we could easily reach Dubrovnik old town.

Very well run establishment. We were greeted warmly by the owner and shown around. He also booked our transfer to the airport as soon as we arrive, free of charge. A very clean, modern place. Lovely sea views. Perfect for a night or two before a flight.

Everything was great; the staff, the villa and the location. We were able to check-in three hours early. The views from the Seaview villa were amazing. Absolutely a 10 out of 10 resort. Would recommend and revisit myself.

For me it’s too late in the year for sea swimming but not...
For me it’s too late in the year for sea swimming but not for sunbathing if that’s your thing. Not for me, good weather is important for boat trips and exploring further afield and this is a good base for that but can be pricey. Nothing much to do in Cavtat at this time of year and basically it all closes down on 31st October. Half the restaurants are still open but I don’t know for how much longer and they are also pricey. Dinner for two with a drink and a glass of wine is is very easily €100 plus. The whole town gets dressed up and comes out for a walk on Sunday. Very nice, just like Italy or Spain.
My overall impression is that tourists are coming with holiday money and they want as much of it as possible. I suppose that’s how you only open for 6 or 7 months of the year. So, nice place and a lovely hotel at reasonable price ( but that may be because it was closedown time?) but be ready to spend!

We used Mlini for a night before flying out of Dubrovnik Airport. We started our Croatia holiday in Split, then did a Bike and Boat through the islands, ending up in Dubrovnik. Seeing how far Dubrovnik is from the airport, I sought closer accommodations, and it was a quick 10 minutes in the early morning when our driver picked us up at 5:40 a.m. After being there, for one day, I wish I could have spent several days there just relaxing!

Friendly, helpful, and genuine owner, who was very kind and accommodating. Fresh figs on the table! We highly recommend this property for anyone who needs a walk-to lodging from the airport. There is even a diner 2 blocks away.

The hosts where wonderful people, very friendly and made you feel right at home. The accommodation was very handy for closeness to the airport. Only a short stay but there was shops and restaurants nearby and you weren't far from the main road for easy access to wherever you were planning to go to.

1) It's a small village, so I expected food to be more affordable. Instead, I found a bunch of expensive restaurants. It was the end of the season meaning not many tourists. Still, no discounts, ridiculous prices. I mean 25 eur for a modest pizza, what's that really???
2) Public parking is virtually non-existant. If you travel by car, make sure your host arrange you a parking spot.

There was a lot to do in the area, whether a person wanted to shop at a shopping mall, or smaller souvenir shops. The downtown Dubrovnik area was a short ride away, which offered great views and history of Old Town where a person could spend several days at all the shops, restaurants, nightclubs, and even take a cooking class - which we did. There were plenty of gellato shops on every street. I highly recommend the Local Cooking Class where we learned how to make bread, cook mussels, make macaroni, then candied almonds for a sweet treat. Then we enjoyed our meal together - it was wonderful.

Website says has restaurant with a la cart menu…. since it was Sunday and we were the only guests, manager offered to cook spaghetti which I don’t eat…and referred us to a pizza place, which turned out to be good .
Breakfast was personally cooked for us since we were the only guests.
Most stores nearby were closed because it was Sunday.
Location to airport was good.
Would recommend ONLY as an airport hotel.

Very nice town with great restaurants and bars overlooking the harbour. Only 7 mins taxi ride from Dubrovnik airport. Boat rides into Dubrovnik take around 50 mins, local bus takes about the same time. Nice places within easy walking distance for a swim in the sea. Would highly recommend Cavtat for a relaxing break.

In the beautiful Konavle valley, not far from Dubrovnik,...
In the beautiful Konavle valley, not far from Dubrovnik, Čilipi has a small but interesting ethnographic museum across the square from St. Nicholas church. Try to time your stay to see the folk dancing. A short drive away you will find the Sokol Grad fortress and a restored Rector's residence. Be sure to visit the amazing Konavoski Dvor restaurant.
