We recently spent three unforgettable days at Hotel ICON in Hong Kong, and everything about our stay was absolutely excellent. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed with their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. The room was impeccably clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, offering every amenity we could need for a comfortable stay. The breathtaking views of Victoria Harbour from our room were the highlight, adding a touch of magic to our experience. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, offering a fantastic start to each day. One of the standout features was the rooftop pool and fitness center. The pool provided stunning views of the cityscape, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel’s convenient location made it easy to access key attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation, enhancing the overall experience. Hotel ICON truly sets the standard for hospitality with its excellent service, attention to detail, and luxurious atmosphere. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hong Kong and can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

I love the Chinese dim sum restaurant on the 1st floor. It was immaculate. Open at 6:00am daily. Dim sum at a discounted price till 11:00am. I enjoyed my 花膠灌湯餃 so much, I have to had one daily. The peanut n pork congee was scrumpdilicious. Servers were excellent, great service. Hotel Bus Shuttle.: So organized. U simply call to book your seat and hop onto the bus. The schedule is super convenient. Minutes to Kwai Fong MRT. Took me 30 minutes to arrive the Causeway Bay MRT station from the Kai Fong MRT station. The booking of shuttle seats is open 24/7. So good!!?! Service at the Front Check In counter: all staff are so courteous and well trained. Hotel Manager Edwin is a CHARM. His service for his hotel residence is rated "10". Understanding, caring and no matter how busy he is in his office, he comes out to the front counter to help me to the best of his knowledge. Edwin's help is immeasurable. I am very much impressed with his service. There is a 7-11 convenience store on the main street where you can buy snacks and bottled water. Super convenient. I stayed for two weeks from Dec. 15, 2023 till around Christmas time. I love Dorsett Tsuen Wan Hotel. I could have stay here for two months..... Thank you, Mr. Edwin Chow. You have made my stay a memorable experience. S.. Wong Chiu from Canada

The neighbourhood around the hotel is nice. Lots of place to eat local food. The staffs are so helpful esp. Mr. Wilson at the concierge :) The room is tiny but it fits for 2 especially with this price for Hong Kong! They provide shuttle bus every hour to the MTR station. Totally love it!

A bustling city with a wide range of shops restaurants and bars to suit most tastes. Cheap taxis make getting around easy but you need cash to pay them. It is worth getting a local sim card for access to the internet and navigation. These cards can be bought at the airport or at any 7/11 shop in the city. The city is quite polluted and noisy and will put off some sensitive people. Be prepared to do a lot of walking with some quite steep hills around the central and Mid levels. Weather can be quite hot at any time of the year. The cost of eating out is quite high with the cheapest set menu for lunch ending up costing around £20 .per head. A lot to see if you plan carefully.

Everything was so expensive now.

Everything was so expensive now. The tax free and no sales tax maybe there but the prices are 20% higher than prices abroad. I also bought a shoes with a mark down price and I think its like 30% sale off the rack. Came out from our country, it came out more expensive in HK in the end. I checked in our country

1. The politeness and willingness of your tourism team at the arrival and departure halls of HKIA was reassuring to us. They made us feel welcomed. 2. The versatility of your Octopus card in all types of transactions is convenient. 3. Most Hongkongers we interacted with were polite and eager to help. Concierge at Metropark Hotel Kowloon and Nathan Hotel were exceptionally helpful. 4. We enjoyed getting around Victoria Peak, Sai Kung, Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui and the avenue of stars, Ladies Market, Sum Sui Po and Temple Street Night Market. It was fun mingling with the crowd in those places. 5. The surprise we got with service charges in restaurants and the fact that extra charges were not communicated to us up front, left a bad taste in our mouths. We felt cheated. We avoided going to restaurants because of the ridiculous charges. Your street food vendors were more pleasant. 6. We found some vendors quite sarcastic in their response and comments. Especially in cantonese because they thought we could not understand the language. Unfortunately for them we did. This does not go well to the image of your city. 7. Unfortunately the Symphony of Lights was a huge disappointment for us because it did not deliver the WOW factor we expected. 8. Getting around in the mrt and buses were fun and adventurous ways to interact with Hongkongers.
