Everything. The staff are without exception all absolutely brilliant. So helpful and always smiling and happy. Not just a faceless team but individual members of staff all happily working together. They are interested in talking but always remain courteous and respectful. Thank you to the reception ladies who were particularly helpful in finding us another room for the night when our ferry was cancelled. To Dimitris, to the girls in the breakfast room. To Christopher and his team in the bar. To the chef and kitchen team and to the cleaners. Thank you. You should all be very proud of the service you give and the lovely people you are.

We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is charming, with spacious rooms arranged over two floors — perfect for families, as the teenagers could sleep downstairs while the parents stayed upstairs. The staff were absolutely lovely, and we especially appreciated the warm welcome from Elena. Thank you for your hospitality.

The staff were absolutely amazing – warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Their service made the experience even more enjoyable. Huge shout out to Anthi (Άνθη) who went above & beyond to make us as comfy as possible, she made our holiday even more memorable.Highly recommend! Our room was in a perfect position right by the pool, very peaceful. Maybe not for everyone but we never felt overlooked or lacking privacy. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic, the two big asks for any hotel stay. The room was spacious and well equipped, perfect min every way. All of the staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, so friendly every single day, from George on reception, Nikos and Nik on the bar and the lovely waitresses in the restaurant, cannot fault them. They were all amazing and a credit to the place. Location was perfect, a minute to the beach with lovely tavernas to choose from and a short stroll into town. A perfect week, and would 100% recommend.

Whether it was the breakfast buffet, poolside snacks, or dinner at the on-site restaurant, everything was fresh and flavorful. The amenities were top-notch. The pools were sparkling clean and the perfect place to relax during the day, while the private beach access was a dream — clean sand, clear water, and plenty of loungers available. Everything throughout the property was well-maintained and spotless, which really made a difference in our overall experience. The host was very nice and immediately upgraded us to a room with more beds even though we arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet. Apartment was very spacious with a water boiler and a nice balcony. We even witnessed a little private concert in the evening as there was a group of friends playing bouzouki from the adjacent Skiathos Garden theatre. The receptionist was very smiling and gave us advice on the nearest bus stop and the beaches we should visit. We felt very welcome even though we only stayed for one night and were honest about us wanting to visit the other islands in the Sporades rather than Skiathos. Don't miss the Koutsavaki tavern which is 10 mins away from the hotel for an authentic and non-touristic experience.

The hotel is incredibly nice, great service, everyone were extremely friendly. Good roof top restaurant with astonishing view. We've booked a room with the see view and it was breathtaking, from our room's balcony we were able to see the sunset. The room also was very clean. Air conditioning worked well. In several minutes are located very nice beaches.

A pretty town, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes, but...

A pretty town, plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes, but all in an attractive setting of tree-lined cobbled streets and scenic port area. We would recommend Nikos taverna in the pedestrian street for excellent grilled food and efficient service-it’s always packed and there’s good reason for that- also the fish taverna on the port., which also serves meat dishes and traditional Greek cuisine. Very reasonable prices, good food and lovely staff. For breakfast, coffee and a nice little place to people-watch, we loved the Foodie cafe in the pedestrian street. Friendly staff and good service.

This is a spacious and well thought out property . Gorgeous interior and everything thought about from the use of space , seating area/breakfast bar and kitchen with a really large balcony. The bed is very big and extremely comfortable, if I had one criticism it would be that I could hear our neighbours shower or use of their hairdryer but this was only something minor. Excellent property and value for money in a beautiful location , 10 min walk into Skiathos town but if you don’t fancy the walk some beautiful tavernas on your doorstop , would 100% stay again and recommend.

This is a lovely, fairly quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There are plenty of bars if you need them and very good bus services if you want to go further afield. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

Great beach nearby with taverna, lovely walks available, regular bus service with bus stop 15 being a 5-10 minute walk downhill - not so easy going back up! Plenty of restaurants in the area including a short walk along the main road to Aghia Paraskevi which will give you more choice - we particularly liked 'Maistrali' - up the lane opposite the church, family owned and run.

Achladies is a great place to stay.

Achladies is a great place to stay. The beach is sandy and the sea warm and clear. Plenty of sunbeds. The Mojo bar is great for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Friendly and attentive staff. Water taxi is a great way to travel to and from Skiáthos town. Quick and reliable. Also enjoyed the nearby restaurants. Great food and friendly staff. The couple of supermarkets have all the basics needed. Also a regular bus route around the island.

First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

The beaches through the forest were amazing, clean peaceful...

The beaches through the forest were amazing, clean peaceful with no sports, music. Food and drinks available and very kind people. Local restaurants were very good and reasonable as were the supermarkets. The bus service is brilliant. Would definitely visit again.

Better than we expected......various areas to visit, a busy...

Better than we expected......various areas to visit, a busy promenade with many shops and restaurants, the port area with some lovely tavernas overlooking the sea, we liked the local beach Megali Ammos which was walkable from our hotel and had 3/4 lovely restaurants...our favourite was the Thessaloniki. Great bus service every 10 mins. Not too many families so ideal for couples or singles. Plenty of boat trip options, etc.

Loved the location – just a 12-minute walk to the port, which made everything so convenient. The accommodation was perfect – clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. What truly made the stay special was the staff. A heartfelt thank you to Anthi (Άνθη) and John for going above and beyond – your warmth and hospitality made all the difference!

A beautiful part of Skiathos. numerous tavernas and bars...

A beautiful part of Skiathos. numerous tavernas and bars close by, but not noisy at night. The bus from stop 16 only takes about 20 minutes into Skiathos town. Despite all the socializing spots it doesn't feel too touristy. I can see why it is referred to as 'The Boomerang Island!'
