Beautiful room, very spacious with a cute balcony, small kitchenette (which we actually used as there was a storm one of the nights we stayed over and we couldn't go outside) and of course air-con. The hotel is very close to a bakery (ideal for breakfast and lunch sandwiches), supermarket and many restaurants (highly recommend visiting Andreas' Family-Askeli Poros best food we had in Poros). It is also close to the best beach in Poros (in my opinion) called Monastiri Beach, there are other ones nearby too but the best one is definitely Monastiri. The hotel swimming pool wasn't working so we didn't have the chance to visit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend staying here, the facilities were great and there were so many things around to do without having to go the ''centre'' of Poros that was much busier. Ευχαριστουμε πολυ για την υπεροχη εξυπηρετηση!

This hotel is a little oasis; the staff are exceptional, and we loved the relaxed atmosphere and the access to the platform for chilling and swimming. The restaurant was excellent, with authentic fresh Greek dishes that were very reasonably priced. The location is ideal and just a short stroll away from the port and a wide variety of restaurants and tavernas. We look forward to a return to this hotel.

The personal was really nice, always there when we needed something, helped us with car rental, everyday cleaning, including Sundays 😀. The price was really fair 👌. And the way to the beach, we loved it. Some 15 minutes slow walk 🚶‍♀️ in a countryside like street. Would for shire come again. Thank you!

The place felt homely and cozy. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but very clean and comfortable. The pool was wonderful. Great location. A supermarket nearby and the center of town within a few minutes walk. In summary, we had a great experience and stayed longer than we planned. Exceptional value for money.

We stayed in the very comfortable harbor area of Aegina Town. Just a 40-minute ferry from Athens' Pireaus port. Ancient sites to visit. Lots of harbor restaurants for beverages and dining. A relaxing way to settle in from international travel before our extended tour of Athens and the Peloponnese tour. Would have been a great wind-down stay afterward too.

We’ve stayed on the island of Poros at least twice before this time. The extra days, 4 nights total gave us a chance to explore some sights in Porostown. We walked up winding streets to the picturesque town clock in a tall building. Afterward we took a taxi to the charming, small monastery on the edge of town. Porostown is a manageable size offering many restaurants and tavernas. We enjoy the location for a taste of old Greece before cruising from Piraeus.

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking. Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

I rented a scooter.

I rented a scooter. Near the Orloff there is a very good bakery to buy a Tyropita to bring to the beaches in case one still wants a snack after the incredibly good breakfast. One of the most beautiful beaches is Agia Paraskevi. Other people go by bicycle or Elettric Bicycle, some walk, some jog. There are incredible places to discover. All choices for dining out according to your taste. I liked traditional Greek food at a tavern called Bouboulina, but I explored a lot.

The beach is the longest sandy beach on Aegina which is predominately lovely sand there are some mixed stones and sand at the far but nothing to bad. The water is shallow and mainly calm wit a big sand bar a few meters out I would say very safe for children The sunbed range in quality and price ranging from 20 euros a set with parasol to 12 euros which obviously also is based on location and convenience to the beach bars and taverna's. Some beds are free if you spend money in the taverna's We loved the beach and clear warm warms that September brings

Souvala is quieter than Aegina Town but that is not a bad thing. It is more laid back. It has some good tavernas, bars and restaurants. The souvlaki at Theophilos is to die for. With a Greek salad and a small Carafe of wine , two Souvlakis 17 Euros. That's great. There us a,small beach near the small harbour. There is also a another beach slightly out of the town which in high season has sunbeds and a bar. Just a short walk.. Souvala has a good Supermarket Bakery and some other little shops too. Lovely little place. And 15 mins by taxi to.Aegina,Town .

Like mentioned, 17 days were too long.

Like mentioned, 17 days were too long. But with a car it made a difference. My daughters boys are not young children, they are super active 17 and 14 year old teenagers and the activities my daughter and them did around the island is mindboggling. Snorkeling, scuba diving, renting bikes going all over the island. Climbing the highest point in Moni Island and jumping off cliffs. I am sure they know the island better then a lot of locals. We live in Cape Town, SA and are spoiled by unbelievable scenery, so its often hard not to compare. The time of year we chose was great. Warm nights, hot days and the water amazingly warm.
