LuxembourgBreakfast was very good and the possibility to sit in the garden and enjoy your coffee with the beautiful view the hotel offers was a joy. They even served a mountain tea collected from the countryside nearby by one of the ladies working at the hotel. Very nice extra touch!
However, the best thing was the staff working at this hotel. Simply super all of them and one of the reasons I will visit again next year

This place is a really authentic and naturally representative of the Greek Peloponnesian tradition and culture, based on very kind, pure and welcoming people that embrace their activity in a way that goes farther than running just a business. Stone, wood, a pure simplicity that consist to a much more essential luxury that city‘s life have forgotten. Those that expect modern hotels impersonal decor and conveniences will not find their happiness. It is a small paradise for one that know how to appreciate real things. Do not miss the breakfast. Most of their products are handmade from their own local and personal production, and we feel the love and care in the taste. They collect even the mountain tea every July themselves and cook in the old traditional ovens. Because they do not only work for the result, they embrace the process and are aligned with their identity, their history, their tradition and their heart.
PS : Ideal emplacement, in one of the most beautiful villages

the room was exactly like the photos! so warm and comfy and the fireplace as very easy to use:) we will definitely visit again. breakfast was excellent everything was handmade and fresh. pies jams cakes fresh bread... soft Christmas music on the background and very polite stuff. also the tavern"geyseis kai oinos" across the street has great food and the lady working there makes the best apple pie i ever had

So friendly hosts which made the stay very comfortable and charming. The house itself it’s just amazing. The fire place, jacuzzi & nice decoration just made our stay so complete. I really recommend everybody to stay here. The view is breathtaking and together with everything else makes you relax for 100%

The host was very warm and kind.The view was superb. The room was really cozy with a fireplace which creates a super atmosphere in a winter night. the bed was super comfy as it was Coco-Mat(a premium greek brand). The breakfast was perfect and served in the room .

The view of this hotel is amazing, in a secluded location, away from noise. Beautiful view of the mountains and beer by villages.

We stayed in February and loved every minute of it, the room was so cosy with its fireplace and jaccuzi and breathtaking views. Love that it also had two sitting areas and a balcony.

Excellent village with nice accommodations, restaurants and coffee shops. Very close to the ski center and other villages to visit. Very close to Athens city (1,5 hours of national road and 20' of easy roads)

It’s easy to drive from Kato to Messaio to Ano Trikal and surrounding areas by car. Messaio has more restaurants. But Kato has a nice plateia, circular hike trails, and a few restaurants and cafes as well! Especially if snow is on upper areas, Kato area may remain dry and roads clear!

This is the Greek Alps.
This is the Greek Alps. A spectacular area worth taking the time to explore, which I will do on another occasion. I generally follow the costal route while traveling by ferry from Italy to Greece, I had time this trip and I was so pleased to discover this area, this aspect of Greece. Green and lush, rivers, forests, vineyards, olive trees - the whole of the drive from the coast is spectacular.

A nice quiet village.
A nice quiet village. A good place to explore the wider area by car. The next village (Klimenti) is known for its many events especially during Springtime throughout Autumn in the main tavern (Klimenti Cafe-Tavern).

Mesinon is a great location to base yourself to explore the beautiful nearby towns of Goura, Archeo Feneo, Kleitoria, Steno. Lake Doxa is also very close by car.
For those prepared to venture a little bit further a visit to the beautiful towns of Vytina/ Stemnitsa/ Dimitsana are a must .
This is a beautful part of Greece that provides a wonderful contrast to a visit to the Greek islands. Highly recommended

The village is small but has plenty of outlets for food drink coffee and some limited shopping, we ate in all the restaraunts and the food was good in all and Giota in the local cafe was a lovely lady and always happy to help with information on the local area
