We had a truly great stay. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully served in the room. We stayed in a suite with a spa on the terrace. While it was a lovely room, the terrace was not very private, and although it was advertised with sea view, you only get a small glimpse of the sea – so don’t book it for the view. There was some noise from the kitchen until around 00:30, but it didn’t bother us, and the staff explained that the kitchen will be relocated next summer, which sounds like a good improvement. The pool area had plenty of space. Although the hotel is advertised as adults-only with no access for children at the pool, on some days there were older children present – this did not disturb us, but it’s worth noting. The restaurant serves fantastic food, and the staff were outstanding throughout our stay. There are a few local restaurants within walking distance that are definitely worth a visit. You can walk along the beach and promenade into town in about 20–30 minutes, and we took a taxi back for 9 euros. The beach right by the hotel is also fantastic – it does get busy during the day, but in the mornings we almost had it to ourselves. Overall, a calm, professional, and very enjoyable stay.

Our stay in this location was perfect from so many points of view. We were nicely welcomed by a very helpful host. The place was beautifully decorated, had a great location (5 min to the beach and close to plenty of places to eat) and had all that we needed to enjoy our trip. We loved received gifts. It is little touches like these that really make a difference. We recommend Myrthe Apartments for a delightful Cretan experience.

Everything, location, room, breakfast, very attentive family staff. You feel very welcome from the very nice owners. I had luck and was not very crowded at the beginning from my stay. I was at this hotel in July of this year, absolutely everything I found here is superlative, from the comfortable conditions to the services and the people who work there. I have traveled to many places, both me and my husband, but what I found here, I did not find anywhere. Everyone makes absolutely every effort to fulfill your every wish and the result is exactly what you asked for. Linen and towels were changed every day, the food was very good and diverse, and everywhere you met people who smiled warmly at you. Everything about the property was amazing. it was exactly the kind of holiday we needed. we stayed for 10 days and from the moment we arrived until the second we left the staff were unavailable. it’s a small number of staff so during your stay you see the same people regularly they work extremely hard to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. The food and drinks at the hotel were lovely and we used it for breakfast / room service and around the pool but the location of the hotel is also really close to the town. within a 2-5 min walk you are at some great convenience shops with lots of choice, an AMAZING ice cream parlour called solo gelato and then into the port with loads of restaurants and bars. We left yesterday but we will most definitely be back! thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holiday the best one yet
