This place was excellent. I had a big room with a comfy bed, air conditioning, kitchenette and large balcony. Staff were wonderful - answered all my questions and very friendly. The pool is amazing with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. I did not have breakfast included but I did pay for it one morning and the selection was great. Very typical Greek breakfast assortment. (Cost 9 €) The property is a good 20 minute walk to town - which I didn’t mind, but something to be aware of especially on a hot day.

Place is absolutely amazing. Everyone staying in Karpathos, should come to see Olympos and even more to stay there for the night. There is a really special atmosphere at night in Olympos. Village was so quiet. Accomodation is like an old traditional karpathian house , it looks amazing. I slept very well listening only cats/ donkeys. It's like travelling in the past. Very relaxing. Marina and her family are so friendly. They made me feel at home. Also their food was amazing. Meanwhile at the balcony-terrace you can see them cooking your meal and you enjoy the view on the valley. If one day I come back to Karpathos/ Olympos, I will try to stay here again. The accommodation is new and clean, has a very modern yet classic feel to the spaces and rooms. Close to the center but very quiet place. The price us ok for Greece, for the conditions offered in my view. Also the staff is very helpful and friendly, thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

We stayed for three nights at the brand-new Sunrise Apartments in Karpathos and had a wonderful experience. We were among the very first guests, and everything felt fresh and modern, with stylish furniture and excellent facilities. The hostess, Anna, was exceptionally welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is ideal — peaceful yet conveniently close to everything, and it offers beautiful views. Free parking is also available, making it even more convenient for those with a car. Beautiful rooms with a stunning view over the beach! The staff were all lovely and very accommodating. The beach was exclusive, very peaceful with with not many people. Everything was perfect, a hidden gem on the island. The restaurant was the best restaurant on the island and we went to many other restaurants. Would highly recommend!

The hotel was exceptional. It has an excellent location, everything is spotless, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything in the hotel works perfectly, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The bar and snack restaurant are 10/10. They also offer great deals on car rentals, and the pool is fantastic.

Out of the 6 villas we took the one with a direct sea view Panorama, no other villas in between. Beautiful 270 degrees sea and mountain view from the lovely terrace. Kind host very helpful tecommending local restaurants and attractions. Well equipped villa. A few minutes drive from the main town.

We had chosen a sea view suite on the 3rd floor. Everything was absolutely clean. The staff was very polite and gave us the room an hour before the estimated check in time . Breakfast, which was serving from seven to 10 o’clock every morning with a variety of products.

Nothing pretty or spectacular about the town, it’s just a nice Greek port with restaurants around the bay, various shops further on, supermarkets and great gyros and coffee bakery’s, it’s a really lovely island, nice people and great beaches.

Arkasa is a lovely, quiet (at least in June) town next to one of the nicest beaches in Greece and beyond, Saint Nicholas Beach. It is a short drive from the airport and from other lovely beaches, including Lefkos and Finiki, where you can also find excellent fish and seafood restaurants. Arkasa has several nice tavernas, cafes and pastry shops to spend time in, several mini markets, and plenty of parking for visitors. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset from here. It is about a 20-30 minute drive from the main town, Pigadia, and a shorter drive to villages like Menetes, Pyles and Othos.

Olympos is a traditional village in the northern part of Kaprathos, about 50 klms from the airport/harbour and it takes about 1:30-1:50 mins to drive there. The view from Olympos is magnificent, especially in the west part, where you can enjoy the sunset. It's very quiet and even in the hottest summer days, it's not hot!

I liked the beach.

I liked the beach. The sand is soft and the sea calm and shallow. There are few places to eat but enough for us. We had dinner usually at Calypso restaurant. The food was good ant the staff friendly. There is also a cocktail bar named Pebbles which is excellent. they offer very nice special cocktails. they have live music shows every Friday evening. the cocktails are a little expensive but the wine and beer prices ar mostly reasonable. In general Amoopi is a very quiet place. far from the crows and perfect for a relaxed vacation.

Lack of taxis, buses, decent beaches were downsides. No ATM, one small shop and unreliable ferry service were others. 2 days if you wanted to visit Olympos would be adequate, 3 at best. The only ATM was a Euronet one in Olympos with the associated rip off charges for withdrawing cash. It's badged as a normal bank machine with just small Euronet badges. Beware.

Kyra Panagia offers stunning views, lovely beach with small stones and warm turquoise water, great food at Sophia’s Taverna, free parking, and a charming church. There are also many beautiful apartments and villas to stay at. Downsides: expensive sun beds, sometimes it can get busy, the road from Pigadia is 20 mins but quite difficult for beginner drivers, and there's only one pricey mini market.

We liked it as it was a quieter island than some of the others and we like to discover new places. We ate at Poseidon blue for dinner and breakfast both of which were great . You do need a car or bike unless you get taxis around though. Very windy though on our stay only one day of the 4 was the wind low.

Karpathos Town is the hub of the island. Here are the best shops, a good selection of restaurants and all the transport connections. The buses are a bit limited but there is a good range of boat trips and ferries to choose from.

An amazing village with great history and unique Greek...

An amazing village with great history and unique Greek Easter celebrations. Good Friday, Saturday and Tuesday (right after the Easter Sunday) the whole village participates to the events and celebrations. It is an experience you should have at least once.
