SlovakiaThe location of the hotel is perfect. It's near the pier for the ferry and shuttle bus stop is directly in front of the hotel. There is a quite wide range of restaurants 5mins walking. The Skala beach is 2mins walk. The hotel itself is super clean with great scent. Whole staff of the hotel is extremly kind. I can not forget to mention, that we were let in our room after the checkout wich was around 11. The (probably) manager of the hotel (super nice and hearthy lady) allowed us to stay until our departure which was at 5pm. So we could take the shower after the sea swimming. That really made our further journey much more comfortable. Thank you for that !

The room itself was a delight spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with a freshh and pleasant fragrance. beds and pillows were incredibly cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The balcony, which offered nice views of the seaand the port. Its proximity to the port, just a 2-minute walk, was a bonus... We visited specifically for a fishing trip and the location couldnt have been more perfect. The peaceful winter atmosphere added to the charm, making it easy to relax after a day out by the water.Since we visited during the quieter winter season, there were not many people around the port,the atmosphere was tranquil and perfect for relaxation.

The shower was amazing, and there was plenty of room to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...
Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy. This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us. There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too! The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant. Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus. As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!Guest review byMarcUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it.
