Perfect location for walking, very close to Brimham rocks.
The flat is lovely, modern, warm and comfortable, with a fireplace and large windows.

United KingdomOur 2nd time and most definitely not our last. It’s a beautiful cottage with all you need for your stay. It’s perfect for relaxing, walking, pubs, shops. The bedrooms are all lovely and the beds comfy. It’s clean, warm and has enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts are great and very responsive. They also send you lots of info on what’s available locally and a little further afield but we just park up the car and chill in Masham as it’s lovely as are the people. You will not be disappointed if you book this place!

We stayed at Morton House for one night as part of a cycling trip. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed - really comfortable, central location, spacious…. There’s even a piano 🤣.
We had a couple of last minute changes to our group numbers and Michelle (the owner) was really understanding and very helpful

A beautiful guest house in Masham, within walking distance of everything in the village!
Owners (and their gorgeous dogs) were welcoming and friendly. Jude provided us with a delicious breakfast each morning, along with suggestion of places to go.
Within walking distance of both the breweries in Masham. 🥰

Nice little town, pleasant, they have markets on Wednesday and Saturday but we didn’t make it for this but had a lovely meal at The kings head, we was travelling staying at some local Wensleydale lodges, so a nice mix for a one night stay

We were there for the Guy Fawkes 10 miles running race which was just a short walk from our accommodation, on the high street, to the start. Loved Pateley Bridge for the wide choice of restaurants and take-away and would definitely return to explore more of the area.

Looked to be a very small village.
Looked to be a very small village. Didn't have time to look round Timble, but looked to be vary near to activities /attractions. We visited the Bolton Abbey-Embsay Steam Railway and had a team train ride which lasted an hour and included breakfast which was vey good.

Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise.
Burley in Wharfedale was a nice surprise. As well as the obvious terrain of the Yorkshire Dales for hill walking, the town was a great base. Walks on the upland moors, and many well-maintained paths through the upper farm lands. The town itself has lots of footpaths throughout the town, so its easy to avoid just walking along the streets, and many green spaces with extensive play facilities.
A good selection of restaurants and general purpose shops.
Though parking is a premium in this popular location.

I failed to notice that it was accommodation only and not B and B, although breakfast was available at the pub down the street. We catered for ourselves in the well equipped kitchen.

The footpath from Lofthouse to Middlesmoor was a short...
The footpath from Lofthouse to Middlesmoor was a short stroll up the hill (albeit with some nettles).
The circular walk to Scar House Reservoir was 9.8miles, an OS map was handy as the path disappears at points.
Stock up on supplies at Pateley Bridge as we did not see any grocery stores in Lofthouse.

We visited The Forbidden Corner, which was great fun.
We visited The Forbidden Corner, which was great fun. Our granddaughter is 6 and she thought it was brilliant, especially as it was the day before Halloween. Just stayed in Masham for 1 night, then to Fountains Abbey the following day.
The square in Masham is lovely and would have looked round. Must go again and stay longer.

Everything was brilliant from the location, the welcoming atmosphere,the food was on point, staff friendly and accommodating, great walks and a chippy across the road too!
My partner and I stayed in the purple room which has 2 double beds. This was great news to me after a few drinks and a few sheets to the wind. A short walk up a flight of stairs and I had my own bed ! No flatulence or 💤 😂 beds are comfy too.

We liked the location, architecture and high quality maintenance of Timble Hamlet and the Timble Inn. Its rural location, beautiful countryside, and walks.
The decor, rooms, layout, cleanliness, standard of service, friendliness all excellent.
There was nothing to dislike.
