Helpful staff to change to a different room location. Great facilities in a new hotel. Second stay in an Ibis Styles hotel and would happily stay in them in future.

What a lovely place to stay for a night or two. The Melbourne Hotel is definitely the best value for money. It's clean, tidy, and very well looked after. The bedroom toilet and shower were spotless. The bed was so comfortable. It's a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ all day long. Like me, if you're doing a trackday at Donington, it's only 5 minutes up the road, i'ts perfect I'll be using the Melbourne Hotel all the time from now on. Thank you very much King regards Darren 💪😎🤙

The history of this building was obvious and exciting. Our welcome and the care given by the young lady that looked after us (sorry we didn’t catch her name) was faultless. Spending time in out of the way villages rather than bigger cities has added to our holiday.

Holiday Inn was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to LOCATE in Burton on Trent! Holiday Inn HAD read my email reference Access issues! After breaking down (Tuesday), in the City, prior to arriving @ our Booking of Holiday Inn, we spent the entire day (Wednesday 17th) there, awaiting vehicle to be fixed (QUIKFIT)! Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, good value for money. Nice place and friendly staff. However, the car park is full of pot holes and could cause a lot of damage to the car if you are unlucky enough to hit one!

Interesting selection of High Street shops, many of which not found in other UK towns & cities. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby. We also found a really excellent restaurant (Twelve) which we visit every time we’re staying in the area.

Beautiful place to visit, a well kept village, plenty to visit, a little museum, Tutbury castle is worth a visit, has links to Mary Queen Of Scott's. Nice cafés and a fair few public houses for a little area. We needed more time, definitely visit again.

Plenty of National Trust and other "Brown Sign" properties and attractions close to the location. Only ate at the Appleby Inn, and the cafe at Moira Furnace as it was January, so many attractions were not open till the weekend, but all that information was available online when we planned our trip. Have always used Appleby Inn or the Old Posthouse, but would consider using a pet friendly location, if we can find one.

Everything was great from staff check in /out.

Everything was great from staff check in /out. Rooms were fully equipped. Bathroom clean with towels. A welcome pack of tea / coffee / toilet rolls / milk sachets etc was lovely. The lane leading to the Country club is a one car only with planting of passing bays for oncoming cars . Beautiful grounds and quiet surroundings . My £100 holding fee was cancelled in a day or 2 of leaving . Everything was as we wanted and expected for our stay .

Great option for an overnight stay after attending the Download Festival at Donington Park. Easy key access with a lock box. Everything you need including a fridge full of goodies which were matched to our dietary needs - much appreciated. A massive bed and great area to sit and watch TV if you have time! Great value for money and highly recommended.
