What a lovely place to stay for a night or two. The Melbourne Hotel is definitely the best value for money. It's clean, tidy, and very well looked after. The bedroom toilet and shower were spotless. The bed was so comfortable. It's a 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ all day long. Like me, if you're doing a trackday at Donington, it's only 5 minutes up the road, i'ts perfect I'll be using the Melbourne Hotel all the time from now on. The history of this building was obvious and exciting. Our welcome and the care given by the young lady that looked after us (sorry we didn’t catch her name) was faultless. Spending time in out of the way villages rather than bigger cities has added to our holiday.
