The Seafeald Arms-Cullen was a wonderful experience! The hotel was just lovely from the check-in, to the room, to the cozy bar, and bar restaurant. We did not experience the more formal restaurant but imagine it was as exceptional as the rest of the hotel. There was even a glassed in outdoor lounge. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The suite was lovely and spacious. There was tea, coffe, hot chocolate and biscuits n the room. The receptionist and all the staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming. The food at the restaurant was very well presented and of very good quality. My daughter found a card with a sweet message from the turn down service team next to her little bunny and bear which were tucked in the bed covered with little blankets made of tissue paper! How sweet! Thank you for this memorable stay!

Great place to stay to visit Inverness! The location is perfect, with beautiful view of the river and easy access to the city center. The rooms are very clean, and very comfortable. The staff are warm and welcoming, and they have a great breakfast. It’s the perfect blend of charm and modern comfort. It’s a small compact place with some great restaurants and bars, the locals are so friendly which makes the place what it is, Scotland in general is like this wherever you go. The river and Caledonia canal walks are beautiful. It’s a good place to access the mountains and surrounding areas or for a chilled city break.

I chose Nairn just as somewhere close to Inverness before onward travels - but what a surprising gem! The beach was white sands, sea front forests and lovely spa hotel at the Golf View. The place I stayed still had the Scottish charm with log fires. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The hotel was excellent lovely accommodation, delicious meals. The staff couldn't do enough for us. My husband played golf in Lossiemouth at the Moray Golf Club it was a fabulous course. What a lovely experience. We then visited the famous whisky shop in Elgin and purchased a lovely bottle to take home to the UK.

Dornoch surprised us with its beauty - a thriving little town with lovely little shops and obviously proud of its local history. Well-kept and clean it was a pleasure to walk around. The museum is excellent - well laid out presentations on different aspects and characters of the town's past and some interesting videos. The beach is beautiful too and well worth a visit. Plenty of choice for where to eat. We had an excellent dinner at The Eagle and lunch next day at the lovely Sandstone Cafe. Highly recommend both.

Great restaurants, pubs and cafes and made to feel welcome at them all. Particularly the MacRaj Indian Restaurant and Harbour Lights cafe. Great walks at both West and East beaches as well as the Riverside (not really suitable for those with mobility issues). Peaceful place with local people that actually talk to you. Spent many happy trips to Lossiemouth and hopefully many more.

Fochabers is a quaint, lovely small town dating from the 18th century. Easy to drive in and find parking. It’s a convenient location to use as a base to visit surrounding historical sites, look for local shops for made in Scotland goods, go to some distilleries or drive to the coast. Beautiful Castle Gordon next to the town, offer tours. First Highland Games of the Season are held on the Castle grounds in May. There are at least four places to stay, Gordon Castle being one. Delightfully diverse dining options; most are an easy walk. Depending on where you stay, dining is also available on site. We stayed at the Red Lion Tavern that offers a fabulous breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Fochabers. Please consider this lovely village as part of your itinerary.
