- From US$195.68 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 215 reviewsWhen we stayed at your hotel, we were genuinely impressed by the exceptional service we received—particularly from Leah, who I believe was the manager on duty that day. She was absolutely amazing: warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Leah was full of useful information and ensured we signed up for the IHG membership, which we truly appreciated. Even after we checked out, she kindly let us stay in the lounge while we waited for our airport taxi. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and her professionalism and friendliness really stood out. We were also deeply appreciative of how far both Leah and her team that day gone—literally and figuratively—to provide such a high standard of care. Their efforts did not go unnoticed, and we left feeling genuinely looked after. Thank you so much for a memorable stay! We will be back !Guest review byEsraUnited Kingdom
- From US$351.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 5,051 reviewsWe got the tram from the airport, and the stop (waverly) was a 2 min walk to the hotel. The hotel was directly across the road from the Christmas market and within walking distance to all the tours and attractions. The staff were friendly, and we did have one incident, but it was rectified immediately. The food was nice and we would return to stay at the old waverly hotel again and we would recommend a stay here. Our room faced the main street (Prince's Street), but the noise did not bother us, especially being across from the market and the trams, etc it was fine.Guest review byValIreland
- From US$949.09 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,175 reviewsEvery single aspect of the Balmoral is five star - from the location to the facilities and hospitality. The reception team and concierge were courteous and welcoming, and the fantastic housekeeping staff were meticulous and left no stone unturned in ensuring that the room was well appointed and well stocked at all times! The level of attention to the most trivial detail is what makes this a truly five star experience.Guest review byVarunUnited Kingdom

I only stayed in Ingliston because I was working at the Royal Highland Centre I saw nothing of it other than the road in/out, the Holiday Inn and the RHC. I imagine most people only visit Ingliston for this reaosn or the Airport.Guest review byMachariusUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The location was very convenient, with a market nearby that offered everything one might need during a short stay. While the approach lane wasn’t particularly impressive, the apartment itself exceeded our expectations — beautifully maintained and very comfortable inside.Guest review byREHAN HABIBUnited Arab Emirates - 6.0

Queensferry is a lovely town, but suffers as all have from shops being turned in to hairdressers and charity shops. Could do with a little bit of care and attention to some of the lovely old buildings which are looking a bit stressed.Guest review byMalcolmUnited Kingdom - 2.0
While I found the room itself comfortable and well-presented...
While I found the room itself comfortable and well-presented, unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by a series of distressing events. During the night, there were repeated electricity outages which triggered alarms multiple times. This culminated in the arrival of firefighters at my room—an unexpected and unsettling experience. To add to the concern, there was no staff present at the reception during this time, which left me feeling quite unsafe and unsupported. To date, I have not received any form of apology, explanation, or gesture of goodwill from your team. I believe a situation like this warrants not only a sincere apology but also a degree of accountability and customer care, especially considering the level of disruption and concern caused.Guest review byStephanieUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely quiet resort close to amenities with an excellent bus service. Went into Edinburgh every day and saw lots of sites such as the castle / dungeons/ Mary Kings close/ Obscura observatory and a witchy museum. We ate on site or in Edinburgh. All in all we had a fantastic time and made loads of memories.Guest review bySUSANUnited Kingdom - 10.0

North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. Wonderful place to visit!Guest review bygretchenUnited States - 10.0

The waterside bistro is a short walk through St Mary's churchyard, which is opposite the hotel, food was delicious, there is a lovely walk along the riverside, and also another pub The Tyneside Tavern which has a great italian style restaurant. Haddington is a lovely picturesque little town, & quite central for visiting North Berwick, and a good distance to get into Edinburgh, where you can park & ride, picking up a tram at The Port of LeithGuest review bykennethUnited Kingdom
