- From US$155.92 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.9Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 6,172 reviewsBreakfast was fine. Perfectly acceptable choices. Sit in the second room and don’t wait until the last minute to come down. Last minute booking for just one night due to flight cancellations by airline company. A bit noisy from people walking around in the room overhead but they stopped at a very reasonable hour. Room itself was very quiet. Really appreciated the kindness of the staff members.Guest review byMartiFrance

Room was pretty small but with a perfect view to the city. Breakfast could be better. There were NO eggs, sausages, or varieties of yogurts. Warm sandwiches were delicious though.Guest review byWilliamNetherlands

Our second stay in London began with the tube strike.
Our second stay in London began with the tube strike. Traffic was horrendous and became very expensive going only a few miles in a cab. London is a beautiful city and I am glad I stayed and saw so many of the sights it offers - Tower of London and a boat cruise on the Thames were favorites with our group. Buckingham Palace, I found very disappointing. The rooms are dowdy and with the construction of some rooms inconvenient. I am glad I visited but I would recommend going to Windsor Castle. Totally amazing. The architecture is fabulous all over London. It's not convenient in many buildings for older individuals with mobility issues. Ramps and other handicap facilities are needed, more lifts and escalators. Prepare to walk. Invest in comfortable walking shoes!Guest review byCarolUnited States - 8.0

The buffet breakfast was ideal for us and in a very quiet and peaceful setting. There were people around to help you to a seat and so the dining room didn't seem too overcrowded. The staff greeted us and that made a difference to our experience for breakfast!! The room was better than expected and we took a walk in the evening despite it being on a busy road. The reception staff helped with information about the shuttle bus to our terminal and it all worked well. We ate in the evening at the pub down the road which was very busy but good value food.Guest review byElaineUnited Kingdom - 6.0

We stayed in Hounslow area for one primary reason, our hotel was close to the Hounslow Central Tube Station which was close to Heathrow airport for our departing flight and we could take a short tube ride to The Kew Gardens the day before we left. The area of Hounslow Central has a significant immigrate population. It was quiet and safe enough but was different than much of England.Guest review byCrow CamperUnited States - 2.0

Horrible stay with a double bed in a very small room. Whole room was cluttered with furniture. Too small for a double bed. Ideal for a small single bed. Disastress two nights. We will not consider this hotel again and will not reccomend unfortunately.Guest review byLakshmanUnited Kingdom - 8.0

It is a bustling area of East London with an English working class and immigrant population. For me it was a pied a terre so I cannot speak to the amenities of Ilford itself. The Uber taxi drivers were uniformly helpful. I felt at ease there.]Guest review byLipsonIreland - 6.0
An update to my previous critical review, which was uploaded...
An update to my previous critical review, which was uploaded on 29 April. On 2 May, I received a message from the owner, apologising for the non response, advising that their colleague had found the hearing aids but "hadn''t told them." The owner sent a photo of them, then on my confirmation that they were my hearing aids, posted them to my home address, sending a confirmation of proof of posting. Delivered today. It does leave one or two questions, but the way the owner has acted since my review was posted is commendable. I think Booking.com may need to check a few things. The telephone number on the confirmation is the one the owner responds to when arriving, but subsequent calls to that number elicit the response that it has nothing to do with that property. The communication in the last few days comes from a different number.Guest review bySteveUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames.
Richmond is a delightful little town on the Thames. There is easy access to the river and it's an ideal walking artery. The ancient bridge there means you have easy access to both sides of the river. It's a good base for London and surrounding areas. The public transport by train and bus is extensive. There are two theatres. The Orange Tree is remarkable with proper plays, but it is quickly booked up. There is an Art Deco cinema. It has plenty of restaurants and cafes. Some good ones are near the cinema, going up to Peterham. There are plenty of middle of the range chain shops, but on the side streets ( leading to the Green) there are interesting independents.Guest review byGawperUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This premises should not be listed as a hotel it needs an "s" to read hostel. The room should not be described as standard and should be listed as basic. Nothing looked like the pictures shown on your website and none of the facilities listed were available. The conditions were so bad we left a day early, would have left even earlier if we could have but unfortunately at the time that was not an option. This excuse for a hotel should be removed from your listings if you want to maintain your reputation. We will certainly NOT be using booking .com again if this is the sort of premises that they have to offer. Next time we book a hotel we will dig deeper into the reviews, which we found out after the fact, were mostly negative. The whole place was a joke and, for us, not a very funny one.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
Brentford has been upgraded beyond recognition in the last...
Brentford has been upgraded beyond recognition in the last 10 years and especially in the last 5 years. It has become one of the very beautiful and upmarket locations along the River Thames and opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens of Kew - a world heritage site - and in the immediate proximity to famous Richmond and its historic palaces and cultural sites, picturesque town centre and equally famous RIchmond Park. Bearing in mind that this is less then half an hour away from the very centre of London, it is a really great location for a holiday, even a city-escape and offers more famous landscapes, River and green walks than probably any other borough in London. Yet it is much more tranquil than any place closer to London with a host of nice new restaurants and cafes.Guest review byKarinUnited Kingdom
