The Rusacks is just fantastic. This was our second stay and as delightful and comfortable as last years. This time we had a smaller room in the older part which was just as nice as the larger one we had last time. But the best part is always the breakfast (the salmon and avocado on sourdough are awesome) and dinner at the rooftop restaurant which we always enjoy at least once during our stay. The staff is always friendly and so helpful and goes the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Also, this year we used the valet parking and our electric car was charged automatically by hotel staff - this is excellent service. We'll be coming back later this year and next year.

Exceptional food, classy service, super comfy mattress and bedding, hidden getaway feel. My husband said that it might be the best cooked breakfast he has ever had (which is high praise indeed given we have been lucky enough to travel extensively to some very exclusive resorts and hotels around the world).

Great location as the Albany Hotel is near the beaches, cathedrals, and the castle. Literally all the tourist attractions in St Andrews is just a walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is unlimited and fulfilling in such a way that you can get away without having lunch. Breakfast included different fish varieites, English breakfast, different cereals, fruits, milk, and so on. There is a cozy lounge where I was reading. It is warm and silent in the night. There are a variety of books about history, for example Celtic Britain, fiction, etc. There was a man; I am not sure whether he is the owner, asked me whether I enjoyed my stay while I was having breakfast. When I said that I was leaving St Andrews the next day, he said that he wanted to make my last day special. I was moved by his kindness. The hotel is a family business and I like the staff there. During night St Andrews was cold but when I entered the hotel, it was a new world. I felt like home. The interiors are beautiful, cozy, and importantly, soothingly silent. There are paintings hung inside. The price for one whole day was about 100 pounds but it was completely worth it for the location and the experience. So I would recommed anyone coming to St Andrews to stay here.

Room very comfortable and facilities of high standard. The staff were extremely helpful. View of bridge made our stay but traffic noise was constant and may be a problem for light sleepers. The bedroom was far too bright at night. Light under desk and also by the door(probably fire escape regulations and not hotels fault).
