An impeccable place in every sense - very attentive and cordial personnel, cosy rooms, little gestures all around like sweets, drinks, beautiful objects, etc. The location was perfect. We loved St Andrews, although we were only there because we were attending a wedding. It felt safe, very friendly, upmarket, lots of lovely shops, restaurants, bars, cafes. Great walks to the beach and the golf course from the town centre. Very interesting old town with lots of history too.

Dunfermline Abbey - resting place of Robert the Bruce is well worth a visit. So is the Carnegie museum - birthplace of Andrew Carnegie, once the world's richest man, and a champion of philanthropy and world peace. Pittencrieff park is lovely for a walk on a misty morning. It's a lovely place to stay.

Unfortunately Kirkcaldy is like many UK towns in that the main shopping street is a bit dilapidated with many empty shops. The town as a whole has many attractions from museums to recreational facilities and is still well worth a visit. It is also a good area to stay in as central for a Fife visit.

Room very comfortable and facilities of high standard.

Room very comfortable and facilities of high standard. The staff were extremely helpful. View of bridge made our stay but traffic noise was constant and may be a problem for light sleepers. The bedroom was far too bright at night. Light under desk and also by the door(probably fire escape regulations and not hotels fault).

Fife is a beautiful part of Scotland.

Fife is a beautiful part of Scotland. It has a huge variety of different attractions to visit. Unfortunately, we were only visiting Glenrothes for a swimming competition this time but, we’ll be back soon to enjoy countryside, cuisine and magnificent beauty of “The Kingdom”.
