We found this last minute stay on the road from Wales to Newcastle upon Tyne. Needed a peaceful place for the night and this was worth every penny. As for the included breakfast, this was even above any expectations- SO delicious and well and freshly cooked. Highly recommended place to stay for one night or even more if Cheshire needs to be explored more.

Really impressed with this hotel. Perfect size .. not overly large, so attention is personal. Breakfast was very tasty. Spa is fantastic … lovely pool, steam room, sauna & whirlpool, and great massages available. Staff were all super-helpful and cheerful. Setting is lovely put in the countryside but close enough to Chester for sightseeing and restaurants. Bathroom was huge. Just a lovely cozy and well-run hotel in a quiet green area. Already booked again!

I love Chester and have been there many times.

I love Chester and have been there many times. This time we just came to go to the zoo which is amazing. You need all day there and they have a fantastic array of animals. We came to see the new additions: the fossa cubs, snow leopard cub and cheetahs. On other trips I have often gone shopping. Chester has a great array of shops and I've always loved the architecture of the city. The Roman ruins are great too. The city centre is really easy to navigate on foot and I recommend walking the city walls. I would use one of the park and rides to get into the city as it's much easier than driving. We stayed close to the zoo and ate in The Cheshire Cat.

I went to Crewe to see the local area. I visited Nantwich and Sandbach. Nantwich is a lovely small town, and Sandbach is a bit bigger, both lovely to visit. The Market in Nantwich is lovely to visit, and there are a couple of National Trust places we didn't have enough time to visit, but we will do next time.

There is quite a range of shops along the high street; the surrounding houses and streets are leafy and pleasant. I found a cafe for coffee / cake / light lunch and the staff were extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. There is quite a lot of traffic which drives through. There are great activities though as I was visiting family I did not wish to pursue them - there seem to be bowls [on a crown green - not ten pin], golf, plenty of Churches. Quarry Bank Mill [NT] is close by.

Booked an overnight stay and fair to say, room and service were excellent from arrival, evening meal and breakfast. Easy recommend from us and we will be back for a longer stay next time as the area is lovely and well worth exploring. Only disappointment was the weather and the fact it was an overnight stay only, Will be back for a longer stay.

Truly they need to close it and re look at a total refurbishment It wasn’t worth what the price staff was barley visible you had to speak to them through a glass window Asking for proof of who you are when conformation has already been verified and paid on booking. Com It’s an unprofessional establishment quite shocking really My opinion is booking.com should remove it from their site.
