Very good, very convenient hotel. Initially I thought it is quite remote, but in the end the distance to the city is pleasantly walkable. Also, a nice cafe and a supermarket next door were useful to have.

The hotel is beautifully designed, a soft modern style, colotfull and shick. The place was kids friendly, usefull waiting areas, very kind and helpful staff. The room was clean and air conditioned, with comfy beds and bedding. An interesting view, right above the train tracks, but no sound what so ever due to sound proof windows. The bathroom was comfortable and general feel was very inviting. The breakfast was very good as to a large variety and unlimited servings we could enjoy. Good coffee, and a selection of non dairy milks. The hotel is also located very close to the river, where you can stride along the boardwalk and feed some swans, see the gorgeous houses along the river, even go for a run or play ball. All in all a great hotel in a great location.

It was something different to anywhere we’ve stayed before, they had everything we needed, as it turnt out we’d bought our own cleaning products and tea coffee and sugar but it was all there so we wouldn’t have needed to! The bottle of Prosecco on arrival was a really lovely touch! Our nephew loved the ps3 and it was great there were board games! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Easy to find and off the street, so very quiet. Great off road parking and welcoming reception The room though basic was quite large and very clean, the bed was really comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was an added bonus. Apart from being almost overwhelmed by the tourists (and it was mid-November) it was great. Just making your way along the pavements was difficult and when crossing the street, the bicycles are a threat. The university premises have wonderful architecture but you can't see much of it because it's closed to the public during term time.

Huntingdon has a lovely little Saturday market with vegan options, there are plenty of shops to walk around and all the usual outlets eg B&Q, Dunhelm, Pets at Home -very useful for us a few mins by car. There is a park in the centre of the town and a dog walking area. I think it is quite flat, no hills, so walking is not a problem and there is a good pedestrian area with lots of cafes in which to sit and watch the world go by. It is 8+ miles to St Neots, a beautiful little town with the river running through it. Perfect for a visit.

Second visit to Ely as we enjoyed our first visit so much.

Second visit to Ely as we enjoyed our first visit so much. The market on Saturday mornings is amazing with a great variety of stalls, including many locally made crafts. Drayman's Son a local brewery pub/craft beer place is just wonderful. Ely museum and Oliver Cromwell house are well worth the visit. The Cathedral is not to be missed. Plenty of small cafes The riverside is wonderful to walk along and sit and watch the world and boats go by. Places to eat and drink along the riverside and also a large antique/collectables centre. There are excellent links to Cambridge/London from the train station. Everything within the centre is accessible on foot.

The Town centre is full of drunks on benches at all hours of the day. There are reports of high crime compared to other towns in Cambridgeshire. It has a number of things to see such as the Wisbech and Fenland Museum, Peckover House, Elgood's Brewery and Gardens(open every Thursday) and Octavia Hill's birthplace, who was one of the founders of the National Trust.

Clean. Spacious room overlooking barley fields. Friendly staff and a tasty breakfast buffet that was all a traveller would need. Excellent value and good to know the Old Great North Road =B1043 which is clue how to get there! We ate authentic Indian cuisine at the Resto next door and took good Value diesel at the 24/7 pumps also next door.

Arrived at night in the dark.

Arrived at night in the dark. There was some sort of carribean African celebration party going on in the pub with people drinking in the car park in front of the building. Nobody on the reception desk when we got there and people that were there ignored us until an elderly man went and searched for a receptionist.
