    Every single staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. Many were delightful to deal with. My room, which had a semi private little courtyard to sit out in the sun and watch the robins hopping around was large and very comfortable. There are many activities to choose from - unfortunately the weather was wet and windy, but there are many warm and cosy areas to sit in and enjoy a book or just watch the weather. The food in the restaurant is tasty, very French and fresh - some of it grown on site. They also have a very efficient laundry service which I appreciated as a traveller on the road for three months! I went for long walks and generally had a lovely relaxing time.

    Amazing little place. Close enough to Fontainbleau bouldering sites if you have a car and want some french rural charm. The chalet was so cute and full of little home made touches.     An amazing city. A cruise on the Siene at night is magical. Just buy a standard ticket but use it after dark. Montmartre is very pretty but go early to avoid the crowds. Be prepared to walk and use the metro - it’s a big city and there’s lot to see - plan ahead and choose wisely!

What made the experience even more special was the incredible hospitality of the owner.     We only came for the palace visit and the garden walks. Best to book the palace tour in advance and Mondays only the gardens are open. It will cost for a family. The gardens are great albeit very formal but now electric buggies are provided for a cost which are a bit of a nuisance and noisy and look a bit unhealthy as nobody walks any more. The boating lake is fun and there is a very pleasant restaurant in the gardens for drinks and food. Its bigger than you think and can take many hours to explore.

Clean and felt safe. 10+ minute walk to the closest Metro and about 25 mins to the centre of Paris and also about 30 mins to Versailles. All fairly easy to navigate. Staff were very, very good - especially for this type of apartment hotel
