The property is beautiful as are the views. What made our stay exceptional though was the hospitality of Garrett (and later Rémy). Garrett not only made us feel welcome, helped us orient ourselves, gave excellent restaurant recommendations, he also, in the spur of the moment, helped us organize a small party for our friends. When I answered that our stay exceeded our expectations, it was above all because of Garrett's hospitality. The Domaine de Montine has a little jewel there in Garrett!

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip and were quite flexible with my stay. The breakfast was delicious, the coffee was great and everything went very smooth. The facility is clean and stylish inside (at least for me), outside is quite a lot to discover.

Beautiful boutique hotel. We had an enormous bedroom suite with a very comfortable bed. Very friendly owners. We really enjoyed the pool after a long drive down from the north of France. The hotel is 3km from the autoroute. The food and wine were excellent.

A very comfortable and well run hotel. The standard of interior decor was excellent with some extremely well chosen individual art pieces. We were made very welcome by the owner when we arrived. The room was generous in size and spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. The pool was most welcome on a hot day and breakfast superb. I would unhesitatingly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day.

    This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in whilst travelling through France and spain, (and we do stay in 5* properties). The location is great, only minutes from the motorway. The property is beautiful renovated. The rooms elegant and as for the restaurants WOW! The Bistro produces fantastic food, without a Michelin Star! I would recommend this place to anyone.

    To be honest, Valence is an ugly city.

    To be honest, Valence is an ugly city. The Rhone flows through it but alas large motorways beside it. The centre is a bit run down. If you are on your way and are near it, you can visit the centre and have something to eat. There is a nice park near the river.

    Great apartment.

    Great apartment. Had everything you need for a longer and shorter stay. Very clean. Parking in front of the apartment, inside the gated property was very convenient and safe. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. Swimming pool was nice and private. Yann was an amazing host!

    The place was okay for one night

    The place was okay for one night Reza the young man who worked at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful. There was no AC as it was mentioned but the room was very hot. They offer a microwave to worm up your food and the breakfast was just enough (coffee, croissants, cheese and jams). Easy access and close to the high way and the gas station. Huge supermarket just 50 m from the hotel.

    Booking.com occasionally asks very stupid questions. If we go to this area for family visits then we don't take touristic aspects in account. Was our stay too long or short? Depends on how much one likes to be with family.....

    The views to the mighty Rhone river and the picturesque old village of Tournon opposite (which can be reached by foot crossing a pedestrian bridge just by the hotel), the vineyards and the rugged landscape: all very attractive, even in winter.

    If you into lavender check before you yo the info if lavender fields have been harvested already. Otherwise you will not get desired experience. Also don't miss the marked day at Grignan (It happens at Pl. du Mail)

    This was a forced stop but I didn't see anything that was worth visiting. It is just a small working town and the hotel we stayed in was a dump. Even taxi driver couldn't believe we would stay there. Also, you cannot hardly get an Uber...only 3 Uber drivers for whole city/town.

    A very pleasant stop on the famous "Route Nationale 7" mythic French vacation highway. Also easily accessible from the major highway. Tain is a wonderful town, right on the Rhone River, with world-famous vineyards. Check out some of the wine bars operated by the vineyards in the center of town. Wonerful market on Saturday mornings. Stroll across the pedestrian bridge to the neighboring town of Tournon. Excellent restaurants in both towns.

    Nothing to see.

    Nothing to see. It is a cozy small town without any interesting place. The center has some bars which are open after 19:00 but are expensive and low quality. The unique place you may like is a big park clise to river.
