New ZealandWe loved our stay at The Ravuka beach house! It gave us the space to spread out for the end of our trip and relax with a million dollar view. The beach at the end of the Rd is very pretty and quiet, and the Sigatoka Sand Dune National park is 10 minutes down the road and not to be missed. We really enjoyed the accommodation and the area and hope to be back someday!

Vinaka vakalevu to Jo, Hannah, and the amazing team at Wellesley Resort for an unforgettable stay. We were only there three nights, but it left a life-changing impression on us.
This isn’t a party resort — it’s calm, peaceful, and pristine, with a private beach that feels like paradise. The food was outstanding (every dish exceeded expectations — especially the curries, fresh fish, and tropical breakfasts).
What makes Wellesley truly special is the connection to the local community. Playing rugby on the beach with kids, joining a Sunday church service, sharing meals with families, and experiencing Fijian traditions like kava and fishing gave us memories we’ll treasure forever.
If you visit, bring along clothes or school supplies to donate — it’s a small gesture that means so much to the village.

I came for a wedding at the Shangri La and travelled alone. Gecko resort is perfectly located a short walk to the hotel. They were incredibly welcoming of a female solo traveller and nothing was too much trouble from letting me my room early to letting me keep the room til late for my evening return flight. Clean comfortable rooms - best nights sleep. Evening entertainment and excellent food, drink and cocktails. A little gem if you are touring Fiji make sure you add it to your list.

I LOVED my stay at Fiji Hideaway. I was travelling alone but it felt like I was staying with family. The staff are amazing! There is an activity station where you can rent snorkel equipment or book a scuba tour. The beach is awesome and the water is warm and clear. I hope to return one day.

We absolutely loved our stay at Likuri - as part of the Likuri family. The beachfront bure was large and comfortable, cool thanks to the air con. The entertainment was top quality, the meals were great and the staff organised our journey expertly and efficiently.

Lovely smaller resort on gorgeous beach. Warm and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed our activities with Luke, who shared his Fijian culture and also showed us some great snorkeling spots right near the resort.

Recommend hiring a car so you can get around and explore when you want too. We visited many sites around Sigatoka and beyond. We ate at many different places and had lots of swims. Each resort we visited offered different things however we loved being at The Crows Nest.

Overall, it was a great trip.
Overall, it was a great trip. Several onsite restaurants catered to all types of palette, friendly staff, good food and beautiful resort. Lagoon water was warm and great for a light swim/dip. We stayed in a lagoon facing burre - great views and lovely room. Infinity pool, Fish bar was the highlight of the trip.

Food was way overpriced for the standard of hotel
We ate every night in the fine dining besides one night at the asian buffet and pizza near the pool

We loved the area as it was not too busy, Maui Bay had a supermarket, open area restaurants and the Indian/Thai restaurant on the main road was amazing.
We hired a car for 4 days and saw lots of the area and met many locals and found some great swimming spots that had lots of sand without too many rocks/corals.

We had a great stay!
We had a great stay! The room was superb — clean, spacious, and very comfortable. As locals, we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Ed, the Manager, was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway without having to travel far. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors looking for a relaxing stay.

Sigatoka sand Dunes National Park well worth a visit, exceptional landscape & heritage significance; a number of well maintained trails lead out from the visitor centre, with attractive coastline and mature beach forest to the west (plenty fruit bats at dusk!). The place is easily accessible from Sigatoka town , with regular, cheap mini buses running along the highway. If your'e into archaeology, like me, there's also the Tavuni hill fort located close by, besides Naroro village in the lower Sigatoka Valley.

Great location, around 1hr 40min from Nadi airport. similar distance to Suva. Safe beach and great pool. Plenty of activities for adults and kids. Village tour was informative and a small glimpse into village life.

Lovely village with friendly people on a great beach. Food in the resort is not great and there is no where else to eat within walking distance. I would hire a car and then visit some other places to eat. Its quite a way off the main road and you would need a taxi to get there but then you can use bus system.

Great beach especially where we stayed (Bedarra Inn).
Sigatoka is the home of rugby & 7's and the locals are awesome.
