The location is stunning, close to the river. The house is big and very well equipped with everything you may need. It is clear that people lived here and made themselves a very comfortable, lovely place to escape from the city. You can have all the comforts and a great deal of coziness while feeling you are in the deep North, with reindeer grazing just a couple of fields away. While the house is fairly isolated, the town (Pello) is only a ~10 minutes drive away, and it has multiple supermarkets to choose from, so you are on your own, but not completely cut off from civilization if you need something. Tuomas and Petri were fast to respond and very helpful. What an amazing place! Thanks again for hosting us, we will eagerly come back.

Everything was amazing, very well set up house. Loved the fire pit outside was fun cooking over the fire. The place was perfect for a winter get away with a group. The kitchen has everything you need, huge fridge lots of storage so stock up at the supermarket and enjoy the break.

It was a perfect place to stay for skiing and exploring. The outdoor sauna was amazing, as was the indoor one. Met some of the owners too, who were really nice, Will definitely return if we are in the area.

Very sweet couple, welcoming and always ready to help (even at 10pm when we locked ourselves outside the cabin)!
Beautiful scenery at the swedish/finnish border, nice walks and fishing spots around.
Fridge, microwave, boiler, teas in the cabin. That was all we needed for an overnight stay. There even is a sauna!
We had a lovely time there, highly recommend!
