New hotel in excellent location in Lalibela, which amazing views from the rooms. The staff were so kind and spoke excellent English, breakfast and dinner were generous and tasty, and it is only a 2 minute walk to the famous churches of Lalibela. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Highly recommend!

I highly recommand Honey Land Hotel Lalibela. Super friendly owner, who can give us many usuful information about Lalibella, and living in Ethiopia. Also he can arrange quite cheap transport to airport. Hotel serving delicious fresh breakfast made by wife of owner. Romms in hotel are large, clean, bed is very comfortable. Dont think to much, just go to Honey Land Hotel Lalibela. You wont regeret it!

We had a wonderful stay in Lalibela. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. They supported us in arranging both a knowledgeable local guide and a smooth transfer. The hotel stuff served very tasty meals for lunch and dinners. From each balcony the views were simply breathtaking we had two rooms and both offered incredible panoramas. Everything was clean. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lalibela.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. specially birhanu is great and kind man!!The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to center and lalibela churches the rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious! Great place to stay, very warm welcome from the staff. Gashew at the reception was very polite and helped arrange the pickup to the airport. He also always made sure that everything was ok (And it was) Birhan, the manager is such a kind soul, he helped a lot, even when I was sick, during my whole stay in Lalibela. He's the fun cheerful type of guy and he made my stay much better. The place is super clean, with a good bathroom, a comfortable bed, a good view of the surrounding mountains. It's mostly quiet (Except in the morning where there often are religious events around) The location is also perfect for visiting the city and its surroundings, the churches are five minutes away, same for the "city center" (¿not sure?) where all the banks and ATM are located. Otherwise the small restaurant under the guest house is one of the best in town for Farenjis. The food quality is good and it's not too overpriced (Especially considering the other options in town), with good international options (But also Injera) I definitely recommend this place!
