- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsIt's a very nice and calm place, the hotel is situated in the old and beautiful garden - I didn't even know it can be so green in Andalucia. A very special place with a history. Usually default hotels we've been in the province were noisy and people don't sleep and are loud until very late. This one is NOT. We were looking for a calm place to rest in nature and this is definitely the one! The garden is beautiful and atmosphere is very nice.Guest review byOleksandraSpain

This is a lovely village , mostly pedestrian as the roads are too narrow except for the locals! There are great paths from here, we picked easy ones, and just now ,early may,- so many wild flowers. We also had the tapas festival and a band in the square, we may have been the only obvious tourists...a delightful "local" place.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This looks like a great town, lots of older style white painted buildings. The few people we met were very friendly. Some of the streets are in excess able for cars but there is a large free car park and also a car park that runs along the river.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We wanted a chill out break & that’s what we got!
We wanted a chill out break & that’s what we got! The place is so peaceful & quiet , the views of valley & mountains amazing. The road to the property is a little precarious so we stayed put, cooked on the bbq each night & enjoyed the place. Pool is small but water is refreshing to dip in. Wi-if was fine. Big tv with Amazon prime so could watch movies in English. We were first guests so it was missing a few utensils ie kettle, chopping board, wine glasses, but we managed!😬Sofa very uncomfortable. Hope they change that 🙏Guest review byEedy LingySpain - 10.0

We liked the fact that it was non touristy and typically Spanish. Plenty of walks around the area but transport is limited so if you want to sre other places nearby then a car is recommended. Staff very helpful and accommodation hood only lacking a kettle in the room. We tended to eat out locally as eating times in the hotel were late breakfast only served from 9am until 10.30 whivh was late if you needed to leave early. However, there were plenty of local cafes in the town itself that served breakfast.Guest review byKathleenUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Casarabonela was a quiet Spanish town with few facilities.
Casarabonela was a quiet Spanish town with few facilities. We couldn't find a restaurant open at lunchtimes and wouldn't go out in the evening for a meal as the track back to the villa was very difficult to negotiate in the dark. No lighting, narrow tracks and very difficult driving conditions even for a very experienced driver. Very attractive but lacking in general facilities for visitors. Alora nearby was much better.Guest review byJacobUnited Kingdom
