- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 82 reviewsThe host communicated with a helpful document about the property and area. We stayed in Casa Godello, a duplex house with a spiral staircase which our cat especially loved. The kitchen, while small, is quite well equipped. The second floor sleeping area feels amazingly spacious and calm. The bed was quite ample and comfortable. The bathroom was also very spacious. The property is quiet and welcoming, in a rural environment but convenient to services, if you have a car. At one point, we were alarmed to discover that our cat had slipped out of a window that we left a little too much ajar, and our host was very responsive. We would definitely repeat.Guest review byKathrynUnited States
- From US$129 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 299 reviewsIt was amazing from start to finish! Got picked up from the Camino as it was 10 minutes off ‘the way’. Had a big room in the Villa which was clean and the bed was sooo comfortable. Had the best nights sleep ever. Breakfast was delivered in a picnic basket. I then got dropped off next morning to Pedrouzo where I started my walk again 😊🦶🏼 I ate in their restaurant, Pineiro which was fantastic and in gorgeous settings. It was a few minutes drive from Hola Camp and the team took me. Such amazing staff too!! Thank you for everything 👌🏼❤️Guest review bySASHAUnited Kingdom

Santiago is a beautiful city.
Santiago is a beautiful city. It's old center town is magical, straight out of a story book from the middle ages. Getting around the old town is easy once you get used to it. However, leave your car in the underground parking areas, since the town is almost fully pedestrian.Guest review byJoseUnited States - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.Guest review byMaryIreland - 10.0
We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino.
We only stayed a night because we were on the Camino. We would have wanted to stay longer, the city had many historic places and old churches, but a many were closed (we were there on a Sunday). There was a farmer's market which had many interesting artisanal food. The cafes were bustling - we only had time for churros con chocolate (where we ordered double because it was sooo good) - but there were many food places - bakeries, pastry shops, cheese, jamon, and everything in between. Would love to come back and spend more time in this beautiful city. The city was bounded by mini forests which was a joy to traverse, with the trail dotted by chestnuts.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
A good place for couples whether pilgrims or not.
A good place for couples whether pilgrims or not. Susana who runs it is so helpful it makes life so easy. The hotel where we ate was very popular with locals and visitors and the food and wine were great. I would revisit but I have now been to Santiago more than once and another visit is probably not on the books. Sadly.Guest review byCaroleUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lucia was a gracious host.
Lucia was a gracious host. When we arrived exhausted from a day’s walking, she welcomed us with cold drinks and a relaxing smile. Check-in was a breeze, and we were taken to our comfortable room to recover for the afternoon. Lucia is an exceptional chef! The supper she prepared us was delicious and the breakfast was over the top gourmet. Maria was attentive and charming with her supper service. What a great oasis on the Camino Del Norte!Guest review byLaurelCanada - 8.0

Lavacolla is, I’m guessing, mainly used as a stop off before pilgrims continue their walk to Santiago. It’s also very close to the airport so useful for beginning and end of the Camino. The bar, A Concha, near the church and bandstand does good food!Guest review byFionaUnited Kingdom
