Even more. our hosts Flor and Vio made our stay exceptional because of their kindness, availibility and helpfullness. Flor is a great cook, and Vio gave us many tips to visit the region. The accommodation is very authentic, with a lot of attention for the smallest details. The rooms are clean and everything you need for a luxury stay is present. The environment offers a lot of possibilities to hike or bike. Congratulations to this couple for their outstanding performance and for making this hotel a fantastic place to visit the region. The staff were exceptionally friendly especially the restaurant staff who even tried to teach me Spanish! Food was excellent - proper Spanish mountain food. Portions were very generous and unbelievably good value for money. Something like 29 euros for 3/4 courses, wine and bread. The room was clean and comfortable. I visited Benasque to compete in the Vuelta al Aneto trail race. The race started and ended in Benasque. Benasque is a great base for outdoor activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking) with many shops providing gear and support for your adventures. Absolutely beautiful, felt like we were inside a Disney movie. That being said, there was not much to do except bars/restaurants and outdoor activities like hiking and skiing. Difficult to get anywhere without a car, but worth the effort for the views of the mountains. There are numerous good hikes in the area, even if you don't have your own transport. If you do, even better. It's an attractive traditional mountain village/small town and ideally placed for trekking in the high Pyrenees, including summits like Posets/Llardana and Aneto as well as the GR11 and its variants.
