Sort is a busy place for rafting and river activities, it was charming once but now some modern buildings have made the town rather ugly. It is perfect if you want to go and do nature activities. Espot is a lovely town on a mountain river.
Espot is a lovely town on a mountain river. Its half-dozen restaurants are all within 50m of each other, and prices were half what you'd pay in Barcelona. The summer hiking is spectacular, but limited to two valleys. If you want to visit other parts of the park, you may want to split your stay between Espot and Boi. Small mountain village that works as a great base to visit the Natural Park. Plenty of information about hiking routes to do there in the tourist information office. Good services in the village: small supermarket with all the basic goods you might need. Some good restaurants from a burger place, a pizza place and others... Taxi services to go up the park from the centre of the village. There is also a good bakery and a farmacy across the street from it. Basically, Espot covers all your basics.Guest review byNuriaSpain
