Quite a find. Lovely location in the heart of the old town, beautiful views from the terrace (mostly of the rain in my case but hey ho). Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There's a separate storage are where I was able to keep my bike dry off the street (not sure if this is always an option but I was very grateful). Can imagine it would be tough to access by car, otherwise pretty much faultless.

Wonderfully located in the heart of the Serra de la Mariola. Perfect starting point for many wonderful hikes in the mountains. Private mini-bungalow was clean, recent and had heating/cooling, hot water, fridge, microwave and cooking facilities, as well as a small porch with table/chairs. Silence required between 00:00 and 08:00, so was peaceful to sleep. Swimming pool and restaurant available.

Nelly and Luc were incredible hosts! They made sure that we had everything we needed and always responded promptly whenever we had a request or question. The breakfast was personalized and the quality was simply amazing! The property is in a very quiet location and not far from the city, just perfect if you are looking for a place to relax and close to nature.

A very cozy boarding house located in a small and quiet mountain village. Clean rooms with fresh, pleasant renovation and beautiful views. The owner is a very nice person, he personally greets guests and works in the kitchen. The restaurant has a spacious hall inside the hotel and a summer terrace, which is very popular.

We loved Alcoy but that was mainly because we had a local...
We loved Alcoy but that was mainly because we had a local friend show us around and we coincided it with the Modernist Fair at the end of September. There are loads of stunning buildings and various places to eat and drink. It is quite steep in places which was fine for us but could be a challenge for others. Having said that, there are plenty of areas that are flat too. The surrounding area is beautiful so that too can be explored but we didn't have time to do much of that in our four days there, mainly because of the Modernist Fair activities taking up some of our time. Time allowing I would highly recommend visiting the cemetry. It is absolutely fascinating.

Cocentaina is a good base for families & couples. You do need a car to go & visit the Castle, Parks, Canals, Caves, lakes & beaches. Friendly place with lots of bars, shops & good chinese restaurant within walking distance.

Alcoy was a lovely city. however the day we left we wanted to go to one of the museums and could not find a space in any of the many car parks so had to give up and leave without visiting the museum which was very disappointing.

I was in Cocentaina for business and the stay in The Anna Hotel was very peaceful, with friendly helpful staff.
A very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again. Cocentaina is a traditional Spanish town, not too touristy.
I've also stayed during the month of August and enjoyed the moors and Christians festival where the whole town turn out. Good music, food and traditions.

Bocairent has a rich history surrounded by a beautiful countryside.
It is not a touristy place but that is what makes it special.
Stay a while and relax as you listen to the birds sing and the church bells ring.
I highly recommend an e-bike tour to the nearby towns. Check out Diània tours. Josep is a local guide who speaks excellent English.
