This property is exceptional in all respects: staff, decor, rooms, location, views from the room, food, value for money, everything. It is recently renovated. The breakfast is excellent. It's really the staff that make it so worthwhile, they are so kind and effortlessly genuine and we appreciated it so much. We were traveling with a 4 year old and they went above and beyond for her too.

The hotel, staff, location and overall comfort have been incredible. The owners as well as the staff at the property is very attentive, making sure that they can provide anything you need. The hotel is located in a peaceful quiet area, which offers a great space for relax and enjoying your holidays. Rooms were large and very clean which is a big plus. Breakfast had everything we wanted and also catered to the needs of vegans/vegetarians. I really loved the place and would come back.

    Wow, so many things to tell about this hotel. Food - Super amazing breakfast, lunch and dinner. very tasty food. Gym and indoor/outdoor pool are well maintained. great place for kids with lot of entertanments and games option. Late night bar. Best place for families. I also saw many old couples as they have lot of entertainmenet programs. My booking was all inclusive so didn't had to spend penny to any of this including spa. Overall, worth a price for location, food, service and beach stay.

I would highly recommend Hotel Cala Fornells to everyone looking for the best chilled atmosphere with lovely beach, drinks and food. The grilled squid and shrimps are so good! Not to mention probably the best sangria we ever had in Spain. Service was extremely good and fast, and I simply love this place. I will definitely be back!     The location is fantastic. The view from the hotel, restaurant and pool is amazing. Magaluf is a party town but the hotel was in a quiet corner. The breakfast and dinner was outstanding and excellent. The whole staff was very friendly and nice, they helped us with car rental and it was super simple.     Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. If you’re not too fussed by the surroundings and just want an area to sleep, but venture to other places, then this is also definitely a good area

    We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.

    Paguera is a very pretty area with nice beach but it’s busier than I expected. It feels like it caters mostly to German tourists so as a spanish learner I didn’t have the opportunity to use much Spanish. If you want somewhere that feels ‘like Spain’ this isn’t it. Not sure I’d rush to return.

    Unique in that it is more a residential area with a posh port. It sits in between your more common or garden resorts and has its own charm, centered around the harbour and port and adjoining row of shops, estate agents and bar, restaurant clubs. Bring your credit card! Portals has a little town centre too, with restaurants, a supermarket and some usual resident shops.

    Illestas is a good location. It’s quiet and very pretty. There are a few restaurants around although they are expensive but you can hop on a bus along to Cala Major or even straight into the heart of Palma for a better range of food and prices. I really liked it for a family holiday. Thee are lots of lovely little coves with pretty beaches and they have fab beach bars and restaurants.

    I will never ever stay with them again.

    I will never ever stay with them again. Their guests are so disrespectful and no education is provided. The holiday break felt like a war. Their guests were throwing the vlothes, and towels on the floor and take the sunbed as soon as someone gets to the swimming pool.

    Pretty town with some great places to eat, drink and relax. Small weekly market and great views. Lots of parking. Surrounding countryside is very pretty and rural. This is a place for taking it easy. If you want to shop till you drop then you will need to go to one of the other towns in the area.
