Lovely stay at Tayko Sevilla. Locaion is excellent in the Puerta de Jerez, a few minutes walk from the Real Alcazar, the Cathedral and even Plaza de Espana, or just to stroll along the river near Torre del Oro, or along Ave de La Costitucion. Staff were amazing, really friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home and give you any information you may need or even just want to hear. We had the attic room which was really special and unusual, very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again if in Seville, and will be recommending without doubt.

FAQs about hotels in Andalucía

Pulsating with History and Tradition

Resounding with flamenco, the fabulous Spanish region of Andalusia (or Andalucía) has world-class attractions, wonderful scenery and welcoming beaches.

Some of the best Andalusia hotels are in Costa del Sol resorts including Nerja and glitzy Marbella, neighbour of exclusive Puerto Banús. Nearby is Málaga, Picasso’s city with relics of its Roman past.

Moorish influences have also left magnificent marks. Formerly a mosque, the incredible Córdoba Mezquita is now a cathedral. Against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the Alhambra is a former sultans’ residence looking down on lovely Granada, home to some romantic Andalucia hotels and apartments on Booking.com.

You can ski in the Sierra Nevada, and also in mountains by Aracena north of Seville, the region’s sun-drenched capital with a gigantic Gothic cathedral and amazing architecture in Plaza de España. It also has a ring where controversial bullfighting occurs.

Its nearest beaches are on the Costa de la Luz, between Isla Canela (by Portugal) and Tarifa. Nearby is Algeciras, across the bay from Gibraltar. Other popular Andalusia beaches are in Costa de Almería resorts including Roquetas de Mar and Mojacar.

Inland, on a steep escarpment, Arcos de la Frontera, is one of the White Villages of Andalusia. Nearby is Jerez, home of sherry. To the east is Ronda with its high bridge spanning a deep gorge.

We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

The hotel is in a very good location. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic, as well was the staff working there. We want to give special thanks to Palermo, Susana, Germán, Lenaz and Isa Vazquez . They were very gentle and sympathetic, always with a big smile. The swimming pool and the garden are amazing. The access to the beach is very useful. In general was all very very good. All the staff was very nice and helpful...reception, housekeeping, bar, restaurant, spa. Thank you all and see you soon.

Seville is a great city to walk around with lots of corners of history and beautiful architecture. Super shopping boutiques, romantic lanes in the Jewish quarter and really safe and friendly. The locals were really welcoming and the atmosphere in the city was wonderful. Definitely a place to visit if you haven’t already. Don’t go in the summer as the locals say it’s too hot for them even; spring, autumn and winter are best times to travel.

We were a walking group of twelve in our 60s, Every one in the group complemented the City. We felt safe at all times even after midnight,I think Malaga should be considered for Europeen City Of Culture for 2026. The Parque de Malaga is a Paradise for people in the warm weather its two km long in the centre of the La Malagueta, from Hotel Eliseos to the centra, The Red Bus Tour was fantastic the 24 hour ticket and we saw so much to make you want to return ASAP. Its a easy city to get around both on foot or on the bus, The choice of restaurants was amasing and all good value.

Wonderful city lovely ambiance.

Wonderful city lovely ambiance. Quite lively with many bars, restaurants and patisseries. It was so lovely just walking around the streets. El Alhambra of course is magnificent as is the Mirador de St Nicolas. A steep climb but the wonderful views were worth it. If you can’t climb there is a brilliant bus service but they won’t take dogs. There is a superb vegan restaurant called Mezze in Calle del conde de las enfantas. It was a taste sensation and the staff are so friendly. I can highly recommend.

Beautiful city full of history.

Beautiful city full of history. There are a lot of bars and restaurants too, providing excellent local food and wine. All the places we visited were very good value, although the service was often slow. It is a very walkable city. Places to eat and drink: Tendillas Plaza, San Fernando, the riverside, and Mercado Victoria. Well, pretty much anywhere is great. It has a very relaxed and easy-going atmosphere and is a very safe city, even at night.

The house is very dated and scruffy, there is black mould on the bedroom wall and other walls in the property are dirty. There is no hot water in the kitchen and the sofas are worn and uncomfortable. The architrave inside the front door is off and leaning against the wall. The terrace furniture is disgusting and mouldy with only 1 lounger. TOP2STAY who manage the property do not answer your calls once you arrive and only seem to let you access the property at 4pm even though they ask you to let them know 1 hour before you arrive. We were told that someone would be waiting for us. He turned up 20 minutes late. Booking.com should not have this property on there site as it is a disgrace.

Off-season trip to Ronda is recommended, as it is teeming with tourists. If you're interested in Flamenco then you must buy tickets for the Flamenco show at Ronda Flamenco, Plaza del Socorro, 12. It was an unforgettable experience which can be highly recommended. For eating Tapa's visit one of the bars in the side streets where the locals hang out. Much cheaper and more authentic.

Fuengirola is great for people looking to relax with lovely beaches, a mix of Spanish & Irish bars & cheaper than neighbouring towns. Also a great place for older people. Saw quite a few scooters as it’s quite flat. For younger people Torremolinos might suit better as it’s bigger.
