Decent value hotel in the center of town. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is brought to the room. Also they allowed us to check in early since we came with the night bus from cairo.

It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

Located at the gateway to Luxor, Al Moudira Hotel is the only palace situated on the west bank of the Nile. The domes and the patios ornate with arabesque makes up the oriental décor.

A perfect 10 out of 10! I was hesitant at first, wondering if the photos would match reality, and I’m glad to say my expectations were fully met. The hotel looks just like in the pictures. It feels as if time has stood still here since the early 20th century: antique interiors, books available for reading, grand high arches, and spacious halls – truly an oasis in the midst of bustling, crowded Egypt.
The rooms are cleaned regularly, and all bathroom fixtures are spotless—almost as if they were just installed. There is no intrusive music, neither in the restaurants nor by the pool—this place is designed for escaping the hustle and bustle of the world and giving your mind a break from constant thoughts. It makes you want to lounge by the pool all day, reading books.
The hotel grounds invite you to take peaceful walks through the inner garden and the herb garden, where various plants are grown. The staff is incredibly attentive and courteous. The attention to detail from the hotel's designer is truly impressive—it feels like every little thing has been carefully thought out.
This hotel is worth every penny. I will definitely return. My wife was absolutely thrilled and insists that this hotel should become our go-to vacation spot!

Our recent stay at New Memnon Hotel was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel's cleanliness and charming atmosphere. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and well-maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden, where adorable rabbits hopped around freely, it was so peaceful. The hotel also has a great restaurant where the breakfast takes place but we've also took dinner there and it was very good.
What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the owner. He was one of the most honest and kind-hearted person we've met in Egypt, genuinely valuing human connections and going above and beyond for his guests. He took care of every little detail, ensuring that everyone felt welcome and well taken care of. His warmth and dedication made the experience unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, charm, and heartfelt hospitality, we highly recommend this hotel.

The villas were beautifully designed and very spacious, overlooking the mature garden with mango, orange trees and a pool to relax after the sightseeing. The food was genuine and delicious. The service and the guidance given by the staff was invaluable, helping with transport and advice to navigate Luxor.

Excellent choise for people who like to stay away from the noise of the city in the evening. Great view overlooking Habu temple, a genuine highlight on the west bank neglected by the big travel companies. Great night sky.
Even dinner served in house on demand. Very kind reception by the hosts.
