Great Breakfast and Dinner which consists in tasty cold and hot buffets, large variety of food we don't really have to complain about. The atmosphere is very calm and pleasant and Ms Hala and the whole team is there to assist. We were satisfied with the dinner by the pool, too, accompanied by relaxing live music. The vigilant Security team (incl. Mr. Mahmoud) is there to ensure a smooth entrance and exit to/from the hotel. Cleaning lady/man do their job properly, considering our requests. The doorman happily helped with our luggage. Mr. Samir from the Gift Shop in the lobby added more flavour to our stay. Pay a visit, say "hi" and choose a souvenir! :) Excellent WiFi in the hotel, excellent Vodafone data Sim bought from the airport (26 GB and 200 local min. for 351 egyptian pounds /10 eur). Even though not in the core downtown (we didn't want to stay there), the location of Safir Hotel is excellent. Nice quiet and safe surroundings of the hotel (even late at night), walking distance to some small shops (eg. Seoudi supermarket, Tete-a-Tete, Metro), Pizza Hut, McDonald's, and ATM's for cash exchange). We choosed Uber to move around (very affordable and good service) and also the Metro (Dokki station, easy, fast and saving time in traffic - if your direction allows and if you are not too fussy). Historic center is non existent all destroyed. To enter the cave churches you go throug a plastic waste dump / Christian slumb. Everywhere from Gizeh to down town you will smell shit and see dammaged buildings and even more shit. We saw camels and horses in pain. Everyone wants your money and there are lying to eachother, even Egyptians get fucked in this city. My stay in Madinaty was excellent. The flat was very clean, modern, and fully equipped with brand-new furniture and appliances. The location was great, quiet, and convenient, making it easy to relax and move around. The host was generous and welcoming, offering water and chocolates on arrival, and kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out. Terrible Experience - Avoid HOST PRIME APARTMENT IN REHAB! I recently booked an apartment through Booking.com with HOST PRIME APARTMENT IN REHAB for my family, including young children, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The host, Abdulaziz, was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The air conditioning didn’t work, and neither did the washing machine, which made our stay extremely uncomfortable, especially with kids. To make matters worse, two hours before our scheduled check-out, Abdulaziz turned off the electricity, leaving us in a terrible situation. This company is a scam, and I would strongly advise anyone, especially families, to avoid booking with them. The lack of basic amenities and the host's unprofessional behavior made this the worst experience we've ever had. I expected much better from a property listed on Booking.com. i had been stay for 4 days and tenant offer anther apartment rather than the one i book thru booking , calming it will be more comfort with a family of 5 members and frankly speaking from day one , washing machine , Wifi was not working and cleaning hygiene was acceptable since we found Cigarettes pods on the floor and end up with black out for electricity due to tenant was not charge enough money via electrical card , i told him such apartment is not belong to him and he is not aware about anything inside apartment , however location is good .Guest review byMashaalEgypt - 8.0

Be ready to be in a crowded busy 3rd world city. Consent beeping horns can be heard all day and night. The low haze ( pollution ) is guaranteed. The crossing of busy 3/4 land roads is a challenge but doable. Only stay at 4/5 star hotel just to have a comfort haven to retreat back into. Don’t get me wrong I love 3rd world countries but not really in the cities. I am blonde fair skinned female in her 50s and I felt comfortable walking the streets with my long pants and tshirt with a light elbow sleeve shirt over the top. The streets paths are uneven and you need comfortable walking shoes and be looking where you’re walking so you don’t trip over. We spent 2 nights in the Giza and flew to Aswan for 3 night Nile Cruise and then 2 nights in Cairo city ( only thing we missed that we wanted to see was Abel Simel but our time schedule didn’t allow for this) We booked everything ourselves and looking back maybe could have a night at Luxor after Nile Cruise to a rest.Guest review byMick & DonnaAustralia - 10.0
