I loved the pools, the atmosphere and the facilities. Most of the staff were fantastic. The resort did not feel crowded even at near full capacity. Incredibly tidy and well kept. Great drinks and the food at the a la carte restaurants was exquisite. Calm vibe. Great acoustics between rooms.

Amazing NEW hotel with friendly and super helpful stuff, high food quality, comfortable big rooms, adorable beach and sea, i recommend it to everyone! # Food: • The main restaurant offers good food, but during my two-week stay, I felt that it lacked variety. • Breakfast (7:00–10:00): There were always two types of salmon, fresh juices, smoothies, omelets, poached eggs, pancakes, waffles, strawberries, and plenty of fruits. • Lunch (12:30–14:30): Always a choice of meat or fish. The pasta with garlic, shrimp, and cream in the main restaurant is highly recommended. • Splash Bar (12:30–16:30): Great pizza, crispy chicken schnitzel, and fresh salads. • Bay View (12:30–16:00): Highly recommend the salmon sandwich and cheesecake. • Dinner (18:30–21:00): Tasty dishes in the main restaurant and both à la cartes. • Tao à la carte: Delicious soups and sushi. • Bay View à la carte: Highly recommend the baked salmon. • Also, great beachfront restaurants at Jaz Riviera and Iberotel. # Staff • Mr. Mohammed Khaled is a heart of this place. I am a freediver and go to Hurghada twice a year to dive. Hurghada is a tourist town located between the salty Red Sea and a desert. Of course, Hurghada, as a city, does not have Western standards. BUT much of what "people" think is "dirty" is salt and sand that bind to each other. As a coastal resident, I know this and can ignore THAT part. Street cleaning has developed over the years: The authority works with HEPCA for a better environment for both the city and the Red Sea In addition, the Egyptians are wonderful, yes the sellers are hard. Don't forget that it is what they live on. A smile and a polite "no thank U" are just polite.

Marsa Alam is amazing. i would suggest to go there if your only purpose is water and nature because is the only thing that there is there. Desert and Marine life. iy you love adventures, that is the place.

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya...

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Very nice and friendly locals!

Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

Everything is OK.

Everything is OK. Except that at the end the owner accuses you of opening some cupboard and drinking 3 beers without paying him. Ah, you specifically asked for his approval and left him money! Complaints follow to Booking, which asks you for 200 dollars for 3 small beers. I don't know... is this some kind of drain scheme, but be careful with this stuff!!!
