The staff were amazing - Taha the Assistant manager was super pleasant and helpful! Our cleaner Ahmed worked so hard keeping our room spotless. The Entertainment team - wow Elena, Francisco, Remy and Tiger. What a great crewe and so lovely. Mahmoud the sandwich maker at breakfast was a gem, such a lovely guy and amazing toasted sandwiches. Yanya was a great waiter, always had a smile on his face. Thank you! The buildings are beautiful and stylish. The snorkeling in the bay is stunning.

We loved every single part of our stay. The staff was amazing everywhere, in the reception, at the pool, restaurants everywhere but especially the lady in the reception Massaouda, she made sure we were allright all the time! She was the best to us. Such a beautiful clean hotel with so much variety of food. I am a pescatarian so even for me there was plenty of food the whole day. We would definitely come back in the future. Thanks to every person in the hotel who made our stay special!

I recently stayed at the Serry Beach Resort in Hurghada with 2 friends, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and modern luxury of the hotel. The facilities were top-notch, with plenty of activities to keep us entertained, like beach volleyball, pottering, hand reading, speed boat rides, and a fantastic spa to unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing rooftop, where we enjoyed breathtaking views while relaxing with a shisha. A special shout-out to the hotel manager, Amir Nagy, who was an exceptional host and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our stay. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly elevated our experience. We also want to give a huge thank you to Mohamed Ali from the Nur Bar for making the best margaritas we’ve ever had! His drinks were incredible and definitely added to the fun of our trip. And Mohamed from the ‘Dar’ Bar always greeted us with a smile and top-notch service, making every visit a pleasure. It was a perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and fun-filled stay in Hurghada, we highly recommend Serry Beach Resort!

We loved our experience in this beautiful hotel. Everything is made for you to be relaxed. The location, the architecture, decoration, even the way the light is perceived makes you feel at ease. The food was incredible, the best food we had in Egypt by far. They even made their own bread, which was amazing. The service and the facilities are even better than in the pictures: the restaurant offers amazing views to the sea and they even have a library where you can borrow books and relax. Moreover, the hotel is right next to a coral reef that remains untouched and full of live. The hotel can provide you with masks and fins for snorkeling. The people working at the hotel are super nice and will make you feel at home. I would highly recommend to stay at Wadi Sabarah if you are looking to disconnect and relax in the dead sea.

The reef for snorkeling and diving, the activities for the whole family, the food, the shows! Everything really. It is an active hotel with something for everyone and all ages. We loved the windsurf, waterpolo, aerobic classes, the gym is also great. And my daughter really liked the kids club. Everyone is nice in the hotel and they don’t push to sell you tours and activities.

I must say that the experience was truly amazing. The cleanliness of the hotel, particularly the exceptional housekeeping service, was impeccable. Despite my concerns about my young daughter creating a mess in the room, the housekeeping staff efficiently managed to keep everything spotless. In addition, the service provided by the waiters, including the Pizza Chef at Alfredo restaurant, was exceptional. While I enjoyed the variety of food options available, especially the traditional Egyptian cuisine, the Asian restaurant's offerings did not quite meet my expectations of authentic Asian flavors. However, this was a minor issue considering the overall positive experience. I would like to commend the exceptional service provided by the lifeguards at the Caribbean Water Valley, namely Ahmed Hamdy, Magdy Abdel, and Mahfoz Rashean. Their dedication and hard work significantly contributed to my ability to relax by the pool while ensuring my daughter had a wonderful time. On the other hand, I was slightly disappointed by the perceived lack of friendliness exhibited by the reception staff. Despite this, the seamless check-out process facilitated by the helpful Ahmed Galal, among other outstanding staff members, left a positive impression. Overall, I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service received during my stay. Your staff, particularly the individuals mentioned above, have undoubtedly made my holiday memorable, and I would highly recommend your hotel to others based on this positive experience. Thank you once again for providing a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropitel Sahl Hasheesh! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the amenities were great. The sea was beautiful — especially the area to the right of the pier — and perfect for snorkeling, with plenty of colorful fish and coral reefs to explore. The food was tasty and had a lot of variety, especially at the grill stations. You’ll always find something to enjoy. The night shows were enjoyable and different each evening, which kept things interesting. The staff were friendly and professional. A big thank you to Assistant Manager Mr. Zaki Said, Mr. Sameh Abbas at the reception, Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Toadros at the main restaurant, and Mr. Atef for his exceptional room service.. We look forward to coming back and repeating this enjoyable experience.

The food is delicious and has lots of varieties that suits all tastes and nationalities; kids and adults. It's our second stay and the food is great 👍 The Sandy Beach ⛱️ that we seak as we adore swimming and the Aqua that our kids enjoy are the main ones. The animation team is taking care of everyone..... they celebrated our 5 years old daughter in extremely attractive way to her starting from the special chocolate cake, balloons, animation team wearing cartoon characters....etc They renovated the rooms and added kids corner and TV in family rooms + bunk beds that the kids adored. So a TV for them and another for us 😉

This resort definitely fulfilled all my wishes. The program which was offered or the coupons for Billard or tennis was just perfect!! So in love with Seagull. We stayed in a Suite, the view was just extraordinary!!!

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya...

The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

Port Ghalib is worth a visit, outside of the AI Hotels. Nice bars, good restaurants and friendly people. On Saturdays there is now a Cruiseship visiting Port Ghalib, hopefully the effects on the reef etc. will be not too negative.

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing.

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

The sea was beautiful.

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

Very nice and friendly locals!

Very nice and friendly locals! Not many tourists, no aggressive salesmen. The city is not rich, so expect some garbage lying around. Prices are generally very low, not adjusted for tourists (except at nearby hotels). We found only a few restaurants, but many fastfood places.

One of the absolute highlights was El Gouna — a completely different world within the region. Modern, elegant, thoughtfully designed, and full of charm, it truly stands out as a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Hurghada. For those seeking an authentic local experience, the Old Town provides a more traditional atmosphere. The market area can feel a bit chaotic and crowded at times, which may not suit every traveler, but it certainly offers a glimpse into the local culture for those who enjoy exploring and bargaining. The sea and diving scene in Hurghada were exceptional. With its crystal-clear waters and colorful marine life, it offers unforgettable underwater experiences — a true paradise for snorkelers and divers. We also joined a desert safari tour, where the ATV and UTV rides were exciting and well worth doing, especially for adventure lovers. However, the Bedouin village visit and the extended safari portion felt a bit tiring and may not be ideal for everyone, depending on personal preference. Overall, Hurghada delivers a rich mix of sea, sun, activities, and cultural exploration. Whether for diving, relaxation, or discovering unique corners like El Gouna, it’s a destination that offers a memorable and well-rounded experience.

"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."
