Exciting experience and stay at this fancy hotel. Santiago warmly welcomed me at arrival and showed me everything I need to know and use on my room. Sharon from the receptionist area made me feel safe while teaching me how to get to the nearest metro station and informing me how to stay alert on the street. Breakfast was amazing spread and allow you to take it slow over more than 2 hours. Hotel bar serves decent food and cocktail. It could get pretty cold overnight even with heater on, so get ready with warm pyjamas.

This was a wonderful experience. My mom and I traveled from Cotacachi for an overnight medical test at Hospital Axxis. The staff was amazing and attentive. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The taxi service back to the hospital in the morning saved us so much stress. Oh, and the breakfast buffet was exquisite. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic place so close to airport.Comfortable beds and great size rooms and very quiet location.Two lovely little dogs to greet you,Ollie and max with their smiley faces.Our hosts were just lovely and could not do enough for us.Even had English breakfast and earl grey tea available which was lovely after a busy day.

Highly Recommended – A Fantastic Stay! I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would absolutely recommend it to others. The location is superb, offering beautiful views and easy access to everything you might need. The property itself is stunning – well-maintained, stylish, and with a truly charming atmosphere. The rooms were lovely, very clean, and comfortable, with hot water and excellent water pressure – a small but important detail that made a big difference. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was warm and welcoming. What really stood out was the amazing staff – incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. From check-in to check-out, the service was flawless. The management deserves special praise for running such a well-organized and guest-focused property. In terms of value for money, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel is a modern and clean boutique place and they offer to park nearby. The city center of Latacunga. Service was impeccable and breakfast was buffet style, small but very good, and different options. I've to say that the shower was the best shower with hot water and pressure we had and the soap is awesome too!

Nice room, big and clean. Hotel is located in good area where you can go out after sunset with mo worries. Good restaurants are located in 15 min walking distance. 20 min to the historical center by taxi, 50 min to the airport. Clean bathroom, good water pressure in shower.

    I had a guide for hikes around Chimborazo.

    I had a guide for hikes around Chimborazo. I was coming from sea level, so I was limited to less than 4000m for the first couple of days (and some people experience altitude symptoms at less than that). If I had stayed longer I could have done a couple interesting hikes on Chimborazo itself - I was fine after two days here.

    Very nice city with a calm vibe.

    Very nice city with a calm vibe. Everything was walkable and you could find great local mercado just by walking around. Got some cheap great veggies, fruits and eggs! Nice stay if you wanna do the Quilotoa trip.

    IT IS A BEAUTIFUL SMALL CITY, I LIKED THE PARK OF FLOWERS, THE PARK IN QUISAPINCHA AND THE HOUSE OF MONTALVO AND JUAN MONTALVO, FROM THERE WE LEAVE FOR THE TOURIST CITY OF BAÑOS AND CONTINUE OUR ADVENTURE

    I loved the restaurante in town. EL Mesón del Tren! The owners Lorena & Diego were attentive, friendly, and spent time with us during dinner. Lorena cooked for us a great meal as we requested! It's an old Spanish style restaurante that takes your breath away and the Food is incredible! Alausi can be a bit of a maze to drive around. But the second day, we were pro's!!!

    Only use it as a base for the last night rather than rushing to catch the bus back to Latacunga before 5pm. Bus in the morning left at 8.45am. Perfect! (Even though the hostel told us 8am and every hour on the hour! NOT

    Staff was always there to assist with luggage, questions, and arranging transportation. Buffet breakfast was fresh, delicious, well prepared and displayed. Room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel while visiting Quito.

    Come to Riobamba if you want to climb/bike on Mt.

    Come to Riobamba if you want to climb/bike on Mt. Chimborazo and/or visit the markets on Saturday. The downtown is interesting, worth a few hours, but does not cater to tourists. It is a city for Ecuadorians living their lives. The markets on Saturday are amazing. They are some of the most authentic, local markets we've visited. Very little for tourists, just real stuff for real Ecuadorians. If you are interested in climbing the mountain plan on time to get use to the altitude. Riobamba is a good base camp for a few days to begin this process.

    The only reason to stay here was to get an early bus to the Quilotoa loop. Walked round and there were zero attractions to visit. Even the churches were shut but that may have been due to the State of Emergency. Didn't eat out because I didn't see anywhere open I fancied eating in.

    It's a nice little town with a nice spirit .

    It's a nice little town with a nice spirit . Hiking is great along the nariz del diablo train route - great views. Here you can also see a lot of indigenous ecuatorian people, especially on sundays at the indigenous market. If you want to sleep make sure you pick the right hotel because dogs and roosters are really loud here late at the night and early in the morning and many hotels have no soundproofing at all.
