Excellent stay. Great location. Juanita and her family were so welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and was cleaned daily with fresh towels. The inclusive breakfast is one of the best we ve had on this trip, delicious, and filled us up for the day!

We had a great stay at La Laguna. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we suggest you book all daily tours with them, much easier and even cheaper. Rooms are big, bed comfortable, shower has a good pressure and hot water. The best part was to book the Jacuzzi on the rooftop after a long day. I would def recommend it

The breakfast was great...I enjoyed the eggs made to order. Melina and Tatiana did a wonderful job of making sure everything was great and all our needs were taken care of. I highly recommend Casita de la Playa if you plan on staying on Isabella. The island had marine iguanas and blue footed booby's just a short walk on the beach from the front of the hotel without having to get a tour to see them. There was also a place next to the dock where you can go snorkeling with sea lions! A truly unforgettable experience...just have to rent a snorkel from

    It was a perfect choice to stay at Isabela island. The room, location and facilities were all great. Exceptional was the service of the stuff: they helped with every single request and helped us to enjoy on max our stay on the island.     Went in October 2024. Could pay for both the hotel stay and tours with credit card, without any additional fee. Lovely place with very friendly staff who helped me upon arrival and recommended me tours to go on. Although it was one of the furthest hotels from the port, a short 5 minute taxi ride that costs $1 gets you there.

    Jackson may well be the loveliest Ecuadorian you meet, he is an excellent host and goes out of his way to ensure you have a great stay. The hostel is a short walk from the centre and was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was great.

    Puerto Villamil is a beautiful friendly port!

    Puerto Villamil is a beautiful friendly port! Easy to get around. At all times the surroundings felt safe & clean. Food was very good, lots of variety. Quiet relaxed stay. Best of all the freedom of the animals all around. Highly suggest you travel light and have your sunscreen ready.

    Loved how relaxed the pace of life was.

    Loved how relaxed the pace of life was. A highpoint was the availability of good inexpensive food. For an excellent quality restaurant, el cafetal was great! The beach and ocean views from our hotel were the best. We loved snorkeling at Concha Perla. We enjoyed a couple of tours and were able to see so many beautiful sea animals.

    We enjoyed the different activities and places to visit in Isabela, I think the Sierra Negra Volcano, and the tintoreras tour are the best. Taxis used to charge much more than in Santa Cruz since they charge by people, not by ride.
