It was a very special location. Situated on a hill, it provides a view to both sides of the sea on the island. From the moment you wake up till the moment you go to sleep you have an amazing view of nature. The facilities are very luxurious but homely decorated. The Trustbar is a very nice concept, which allows you to have drink of choice without having to visit a store. Nice Rooms, a bit different at first, but very comfortable because you have your own space. And a lot of room. Our hosts Christiana and Kenneth made us feel most welcome, we received a very friendly welcome. Christiana answered all of the questions we had and Kenneth is an amazing Chef. If you stay in this hotel, you must try out the food! It was delicious and so fresh, we had asparagus that were directly taken from the garden outside... An absolute must to try the food🙏🏻 Unfortunately we did not make use of the sauna, but we will next time, for I am sure that i will return here! Incredibly welcoming place. Comfortable, cozy, elegant and informal at the same time, perfect place to spend more than one day to visit the area. Also perfect for a one night stay along the journey to/from Scandinavia, because perfectly located along the road to the ferry. The owner is fantastic, super friendly. It's clean, good breakfast, snacks and drink on the spot and a delivery restaurant nearby. Private parking. Pet friendly!! I've been there 3 times and I'll definitely go back. I feel comfortable, safe, my cat is welcome. Highly recommend!

Clean room and bathroom. All was very cozy. Breakfast was great, fresh and a lot to choose from. Staff very helpful and always smiley. Parking nearby the hotel is a big plus. Location it is still within comfort distance to CPH, some 45 mins by car. I will return for sure :-)

Clean and comfortable traditional hotel with an inviting ambience. Lavish breakfast with extensive choices of high quality produce. We had a small issue with our room and were quickly upgraded to another room. Comfortable beds give a good night’s sleep. All staff was excellent and nothing too much trouble. Good central location within a short walk to the centre of town.

Fantastic hotel. The layout of the hotel is beautiful providing an experience in itself. The room we stayed in was large and extremely comfortable. The location is within walking distance of the centre of Roskilde, including the vikingship museum and the cathedral, and there is a great view over the water from the hotel. On top of all this, the breakfast is delicious and there is lots of choice.

Very nice hotel for a stopover. The hotel is near a lake and at the edge of the nearby village, so it's quiet but has plenty of dinner options nearby. Check-in was easy, I got a code for the keybox early on the day of arrival as stated and we were even able to go in a bit earlier than the actual check in time which we appreciated a lot. This hotel does not do breakfast, but has a 'small' assortment of snacks available as well as coffee and tea. Well, in our view it was not small but really grand and perfect for a breakfast. There's also a small shared kitchen so with the nearby supermarkets you could even cook. The room was very clean with comfortable beds and a good shower.
