Szczecin has a very walkable old town area. The Tourist information has done a good job of promoting the sites by the red line you can follow all around the city. I've been going there since 2006. It's a little patch of paradise that I look forward to visiting every couple of years. Very clean, lively, family friendly and safe. They've done lots of work over the years to make a wonderful promenade as well. The beach is always clean and visitors do their part to keep it that way. It was our first time in that city, and the Baltic shore, in general. We were in Poland before, and we loved Kołobrzeg and its beaches. If you're a foodie, you will love it here too, since there are tons of options to eat, to choose from. We went for 3 days which was perfect for us. Feel we got to do everything yet still had time to relax in those 3 days. Weather was beautiful. Lots of walking to do. The beach is amazingly accessible.
The beach is amazingly accessible. You can get right to the center of Mielno by train or minibus. It's a 15-minute walk to the beach from the transportation hub. All you have to do is walk up one of several well-paved streets with trees and sidewalks, and you are there on the beach. Beaches are free! Lots of good restaurants a stone's throw away. It's a very peaceful city!
It's a very peaceful city! It was so calm and well-organized. Drivers' culture on the road was very high. I felt very safe there. They have a very pretty park with a big, amazingly looking pond and fountain in the middle of it. You can just keep on walking and enjoy the view! I also recommend checking out the small lake in the city, it is very chill to just walk around there, enjoy the view, and find peace and quiet.Guest review byAnnaPoland - 10.0

A city with narrow streets but not too much heavy traffic. I pretty much just ate in the apartment as there were grocery stores [LIDL and another one at a small mall] nearby. Szczecin is a city of wide streets with a lot of parks and some beautiful old building which have been re novated. The river Odra provide an extra attraction. You can book yourself a trip on a boat, on a river and towards the lake Dabie. The route is very attractive: you can see a lot of nice unusual birds and beautiful greenery. Also, you can arrange for yourself a trip to the Baltic Sea or the attractive island Wolin. The city has some good shops or shopping centres like Galaxy or Kaskada.
