This is an awesome boutique hotel. Actually, we were not prepared for the level of service in this hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room is decorated with good taste and is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is very convenient. In the room, we were welcomed by a small bottle of local sparkling wine in a bucket with ice and a couple of petit fours. There was a Nespresso coffee maker and capsules free to use, a couple of wine bottles, and a minibar. The hotel offered a parking place for a fee. We also dined in the hotel's 2-Michelin-star restaurant, an exceptional 7-course menu dinner. The hotel is located very close to the city center, and a selection of restaurants and bars are nearby. Not far away, you can find the market square with many restaurants surrounding it. Also, there is a shopping street close by.

Really enjoyed this auberge. The place is gorgeous, the staff are super friendly, and the food is outstanding. Only a few minutes walk from either the train or the "Fruchtmarkt" area where many of the local restaurants/cafés/bars are located.

Location is excellent. Very close to the center and bus stations, and also 5 minute walk from Hbf. Room is nice and clean. Just pay attention that there are two hotels with the same name, City center and congress. They are close to each other, but I didn’t pay attention and ended up in the wrong one.

    This is really an amazing place, so charming and cozy. We liked it since the moment we parked our car in front. All the surroundings and the hotel itself are wonderful! The staff is super friendly and nice. The room was warm and cozy. Maybe we had luck, but the swimming pool area was not crowded at all and we really enjoyed it. The dinner and the breakfast were very delicious. There is also a bar, where we tested some cakes with beer and we were not disappointed at all :) This is a perfect place to relax and be close to the nature. I would highly recommend it, we will be back for sure :)

    Very nice guesthouse in a convenient location. In a walking distance from the lake Bostalsee. The room was large and clean. There's a private bathroom and also a small kitchen corner. The Internet was working reliably. The included breakfast is very good. The check-in is announced as 1-4 pm but we got the keys in a key box, so maybe the times are not so restrictive. We enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to come back again.

    The staff was friendly and helpful. The room (we stayed in the family suite) was modern, spacious and the bunk beds were super fun for kids. There were even some nice new toys in the children's room so we were pleasantly surprised. The breakfast buffet was tasty and included some vegan options , which was very thoughtful.

This is an example when amazing location (200 m from the old town with vibrant atmosphere) is accompanied by spotless comfortable room, very and delicious breakfast and helpful staff (thank you for earlier checking!). Please, note, that was the cheapest option in Saarbrücken!

    This is the capital of the Saarland area, so has all the...

    This is the capital of the Saarland area, so has all the amenities of a big town. It has a mainline railway station, and "big town" shops. The centre is pedestrianised, and the old town area of the town is very attractive, with lots of cafes and bars. Around the wider area, the museum of the old, and very large steelworks in Voelklingen is very interesting, and so is the Karlsberg brewery in Homburg and the underground caves there. The Saarschleife bend in the river is beautiful, and there is a high pathway from which to get a better view of the spectacular scene. The local town is Mettlach, and it's a small and pretty place. You can visit the Villeroy and Boch museum and factory outlet there, which are also worth a visit! Slightly further up the line is Trier, the oldest town in Germany, and it still has plenty of Roman architecture. It's also in the German Rhineland vineyard area, so well worth a visit! Cheers!

    We technically stayed in Orscholz, which is a smaller hamelt of Mettlach. It's right where the Saarschleife is as well as a number of biking and hiking trails. We only did the Saarschleife and the Spielplatz, but could have spent a couple days there!

    Saarbrücken is a quiet and green town with a relaxed atmosphere. People were friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I really appreciated the balance between sightseeing and peaceful downtime — it felt just right and never overwhelming.

    Mettlach is a charming small town in Germany with many good shops. The church is also impressive. There are a lot of very nice hikes easily accessible from there offering tranquility and interesting landscape alongside the river Saar, for example. Burg Montclair, the remains of a castle on the hill, is also accessible and you can get coffee and cake until the end of October.

    A quiet place with all we needed.

    A quiet place with all we needed. A good place to do sightseeing, by bike, on foot, by car. Great place to be in the garden as well. Not a lot of eating places but the kitched is well equiped. You can easily cycle into Luxembourgh or France.
