It was modern, impeccably clean, and very cozy—just as described on the website. Everything we needed for cooking was on hand, and we were greeted with a delightful surprise: a small, decorated Christmas tree and Christmas cookies as a welcome gift. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly, and the daily housekeeping service was a big plus. They not only cleaned but also restocked the washing machine tablets each day, and we found dishwasher tablets ready to use upon arrival. We really enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, which offered a wide variety of options. Although the selection stayed mostly the same each day, it was still perfectly fine—especially with fresh bread available daily. We also tried the sauna, which was a bit on the pricier side but definitely worth it. They provided bathrobes, slippers, and towels, so there was no need to bring anything extra. The relaxation area outside the sauna offered tea, coffee, infused water, and snacks, making it a very pleasant experience. The gym was decently equipped with everything we needed for a good workout, though a few of the stretching mats were a little worn. That’s a minor complaint for an otherwise excellent stay. As of Spring 2023: For those, travelling for hikes: Be aware, that last year forest fire happened close by, large portion of the forest to the west of the hotel was burned down and is considered unsafe! The city itself is not exceptional but offers a good base for people who want to visit the surrounding area (Bohemian Switzerland in Czech Republic, Saxon Switzerland in Germany). A great launching pad for walking in the area. Hřensko itself is fairly basic, but with a few decent restaurants serving local dishes. Plenty of tat to buy on street stalls too if you want presumably knock-off Nike hoodies, watches where the hands fall off or a wide selection of butterfly knives. It's a base for hiking, not a place you would visit in itself. Access is easy by train and a 1 minute ferry trip across the Elbe. Most is in general a nice place, they have a hockey hall, a lake worth visiting, especially in summer, there is a racing track and a castle. Food as in general for Czech republic is great, I would recommend Irish pub and their famous pork knuckle and tartar. In Most, you mostly walk around the city, for visiting racetrack and lake you can use a taxi as there are plenty, the only problem is, that Most taxi drivers only speak Czech language but a bit of google translate does the job.Guest review byJureSlovenia - 10.0

Charming medieval Bohemian city, out of the way of most tourists. Do not miss the Gothic exhibition in the Galerie umění, featuring the altarpieces by the Master of Litoměřice. I would recommend 2 days - one for Litoměříce, and one for Terezín/Theresianstadt, just 3km away. Really liked the area, the location of the hotel. Hospitality was fine but some things were really amateuristic or even unprofessional, like very bad English and / or German speaking staff. The restaurant is an absolute no go. A home made version of mint tea seems to be a tea bag in hot water and home made fries come from the freezer. Hrensko is beautifully placed village, destroyed by selling stands with all kind of "garbage". I do understand that this is city on the border (CZ-DE) so "overboarder trade" is local business, however either those kind of stalls should be placed outside of the walking center (e.g. on the river bank on the way to the border), or it should be nicely designed, not to destroy the beauty of the village.
