I visited Curaçao with my parents and decided to stay here for a few days. This is a recently renovated mansion, the rooms and shared spaces are delightful, the staff is friendly and helpful. Walking distance from the bridge and other interest points downtown. It is a quiet and safe neighborhood, there is parking available right in front the hotel or in the back. I would definitely stay here again.

The Atelier Skala Boutique Hotel is ideally located, only a few minutes walk away over the pedestrian bridge and along the Floating Market to the center of Punda and Pietermaii , a few minutes more to Otrobanda. Traveling by car, there is easy and fast access to the Koningin Julianabrug connecting Punda and Otrobanda as well as comfortably bringing you to Piscadera and all the fine beaches with the incomparable turquoise, crystal clear ocean along the west coast as far as Westpunt. For parking, there was always enough space around the hotel. The hotel has a very nice patio with a big tree providing shadow, where a healthy breakfast is being served in the morning and where one can also find comfortable seatings to relax. For cooling down, there is a nice pool with a view to the Floating Market, also providing sunbeds. The room I was staying in was very spacious, always sparkling clean and provided a very comfortable bed, a balcony, a large refrigerator, a safe, iron equipment as well as an efficient AC. Check-in and check-out was fast and professional. All the team members had always been extraordinarily friendly, helpful and warmhearted. Whenever an issue showed up, they were immediately giving the needed assistance; I was given support e.g. for the car rental, regarding points of interest, received a free beach towel and was always encountering a very friendly appearance. Tu sum up, I spent a wonderfully relaxing and satisfying time in the Atelier Skala Boutique Hotel, in Willemstad and Kòrsou. I can highly recommend the hotel for any guests appreciating a quiet location, very professionally managed, with a warm, personal atmosphere. Now all that’s left for me is to wish to all the team a continued prosperous time and lots of enthusiasm for the future. Masha danki un biaha mas pa tur kos. I hope to be back again soon. Thé bungalow was very well equipped, a bbq set is provided (including charcoal) Nice pool, access to the sea. Internet did not work the first day in the bungalow but Rene (the manager) provided an alternative and it was fixed the following day. Very nice beaches nearby and 2 very convenient and delicious restaurants (both with wonderful views! You do need to go the supermarket on the way up, there is nowhere to get anything (other than the restaurants)

I felt home away from home. The perfect staycation, and will definitely do it more often! ACOYA has a beautiful lush environment, lovely pools, a beautiful big lake with turtles, and in the evening a spectacular fountain show. I was there with my son (3) and my friend and son (18) and we were surprised by the tranquility & beauty on the property. We had an amazing time! A perfect stay for everyone.

We loved everything about it, the beach, the restaurants, the facilities.. we rented a car and parking was easy. It’s next to the aquarium so plenty to do with the kids. Willemstad is a few minutes drive and other beaches are accessible by car. Staff was friendly, wifi worked well, the beds were super comfy and the ice machine was a bonus!

It is not over.

It is not over. We were at Spanish Water View Apartments for 1 week and moved to Willemstad for 2 more weeks. Then we are off to Aruba for 2 weeks more. This is our fourth visit, that tells you something about how much we like this place. It is fantastic.

One of the most important things is to rent a car. Without it, each ride can cost around $25 USD, and distances are quite long. D&D Car Rental was excellent. I loved all the restaurants — the food in this country is really good. There's one called VISBOER, and I absolutely loved the red snapper. I highly recommend the beaches Kenepa and Porto Mari, as well as Mambo Beach and Papagayo. They're not only beautiful beaches but also great resorts — super fun and relaxing spots to visit!

It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are...

It is my understanding that the best beaches on Curacao are here in the North West section of the island- Willibrordus. We visited several, and while they tend to look alike, some offer more rustic settings while others offer a more upscale experience. Our favorites were Cas Aboa and Playa Porto Mari because of their better facilities.

The view was absolutely gorgeous.

The view was absolutely gorgeous. There is a lot of beautiful beaches in short driving distance /15-20 min/ There is nothing much to do in the evening, only 2 or 3 restaurants nearby, but that wasn´t an issue for us. We like to start our day early in the morning. However, restaurants have very good fresh fish. I would definitely come back. But also a car is necessary.

Great resort, lovely beach. 3 bed unit 20 was on first floor, had great view and close to beach. Balcony was fantastic. Air con in bedrooms Worked well. Good size and clean and nicely decorated albeit basic. Bad lighting in kitchen, beds and pillows not comfortable. It’s all about the location here, close to beach and blue bay is lovely.

Westpunt is where you find the best beaches of Curacao (in my opinion, after spending 12 days going to different beaches). It is a very nice quiet area, far from the capital and far from the party spots (Mambo / Jan Thiel). I would stay around there at least 4 nights to visit the national park and the beaches in the area. And you need a car for sure.

Defenitly need to rent a car in order to reach all the beautiful spots on tha island.Prices are reasonable.A good place to buy food to go is La Granja, rotisserie.They have a nice selection of chiken and seafood.Also , for lunch or happy hour, go to PasaWa.My favorite beach was Mambo.

The capital is stunning! We went twice, once on Sunday, (when quiet). Most shops were closed but we were able to get great pics and avoid crowds. We spent our last night in Pietermaai. Thursday is Punda vibes night so we took in the fireworks. We had the great fortune of seeing the Queen Emma bridge swing open for a boat entering the harbour and enjoyed delicious meals and unique cocktails.

We liked the house.

We liked the house. Because Jan Tiel is a nice and safe area. It's also close to the beach and a nice supermarket. We also appreciated our communication with the owner. Very quick response day and late in the evenings.
