This is a wonderful privately owned and operated hotel. It makes a change from the sameness of the multiples. Waiters are in white jackets and bows with excellent customer service. The location itself is a little village in its own right up a steep hill overlooking Montreux and the lake. The view in the morning is the most magnificent view I have ever had while enjoying breakfast. Staff are friendly, especially Jasmine, on reception. This hotel represents old world values in the best possible sense.

The location is perfect for travelers who choose the train-just step outside into the train station! And the soind isolation is very good-we did not hear anything at night. Very close to the city center and of course, the lake and Freddie Mercury statue. The personell were wonderful, helpfull and delightful!

Water dispenser in the floor (sparkling and non-sparkling). Free charge of electric/hybrid car. Very, very pet friendly with a bed and bowls in the room when we arrived. Easy to get in and out of the garage with the car. Very safety place
