The location was excellent.

Asuel is a little, charming community in the Commune de la Baroche area (canton Jura, Switzerland) I loved the fact that the village calm and close to lots of hiking paths, surrounded by nature and water, but also in good distance to medieval cities such as St Ursanne and Pourrentruy which offered a variety of opportunities for the discovery of culture (museums, local crafts, city tours, other) and local gastromonie. Even when I caught rainy weather, I was able to visit different places and areas. Porrentruy is a small history city in a far-flung corner of Switzerland which has put a lot of resources in renovation and upgrading over the last 20 years. And they are still at it. Just recently, the main street was repaved with cobblestones. There are a castle, loads of beautiful historic buildings in the centre and extravagant turn-of-the century villas in the closer outskirts of town. Porrentruy has become a very loveable small town in Switzerland. with an unusual number of bars and restaurants, some of which are surprisingly lively for such a small town.
