Such a wonderful, homely, comfortable stay. I cannot express how pleasant it was. I would highly recommend this accomodation. It is decorated and furnished in such a cute style. Pleasant jazz music playing in the background. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.

A beautifully located hotel. The staff was all very helpful and extremely nice. Breakfast, as well as dinner, were delicious. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very comfortable parking lot beneath the hotel with an elevator from there to all floors. Not a cheap hotel but relative to prices in Switzerland very high value for money.

The Hotel Frohe Aussicht hotel enjoys a quiet location in Schwende in the Alpstein Hiking Area. It offers free WiFi, fine regional cuisine, and a sauna.

What a beautiful Hotel Alpenblick is. I'm not one to praise something that doesn't deserve it however this property is absolutely a 10 out of 10. The Hotel was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The property looks new as it is meticulously cared for and the room size was generous as was the bathroom. Out of all the Hotels we stayed in over 3 weeks, this was by far the best. It's not a typical Hotel, it has the beautiful Swiss feel of years gone by, a Gasthaus. The food in the restaurant was also 10 out of 10. The views of the countryside were absolutely stunning and just a minute of so up the road was the Ebenalp cable car up to Berggasthaus Aescher. The owners of the property were lovely, warm and friendly as too were the staff.

Friendly staff that was very helpful. We had a last minute change of plans and the staff was very accommodating. The food in the restaurant is amazing. We speak English only and everyone was incredibly friendly. Located within walking distance to many great activities and shops. The room was very comfortable and clean.

It was a nice weekend visit of Appenzell. The hotel is located on the main square of the city. We had a good room with a cot provided for free. The room was equipped with comfy beds, bath, wardrobe, a couple of arm chairs and a table, free WiFi. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and with many options. We had a dinner at the hotel and were satisfied with ordered dishes. If you are with small children, you could find some books, colouring books, some toys and entertaining items. Besides restaurant, the hotel has its own bakery / cafeteria, which is open all day long.

The Hotel Hecht is situated in the centre of Appenzell, on the edge of the pedestrianized area, and offers you nicely renovated rooms and free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel.

A big room! The receptionist spoke great english. Easy to communicate with. A loved the bread bun that I also bought home later from the bakery. I wish could have stayed longer, that is my only regret.

Located directly at Appenzell’s historical town square, the "Landsgemeindeplatz", the Hotel Säntis, with its grand façade, offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains.
