Lovely bed & breakfast overlooking Lake Otis. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms clean. Walls were a bit thin, but our neighbours were respectful so there was never any issue. Breakfast was self serve and had an excellent selection of bread, croissants, cereal, local cheese, milk etc. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful castle with plenty of parking space. We stayed in the King room, and the bed was absolutely enormous – so comfortable! Everything was spotless, and the check-in process was super easy through a quick message. Many amenities were provided, like towels and coffee to grab at the ground floor. It was so much better than what we expected. All about technology, which is great. Service at breakfast was very slow so we ended up leaving and not eating there. Resto l'inter is excellent (reservation preferred as it gets full). Room was very big (king) with a great view.

It was everything we would have expected and more. We stayed there on a clear night, no clouds, so we were also lucky to see a sky full of stars ! The owners are nice, they also offer restaurant service at night (much appreciated as there is not much choice over there) and we ate good pizza and could enjoy local beer. The breakfast included in our stay was good too, everything seemed home cooked. I would recommend it to my friends and family!

We felt very comfortable in Apartment No. 9. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable – we slept really well. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and pleasantly dark at night, which made for a restful sleep. We were especially impressed by how peaceful it was, despite its central and well-connected location. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay that we’re happy to recommend.

I chose this place for its location to the ferry and potential whale spotting. The room was a little smaller than expected, but met our expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. Loved being able to look out at the water from our room, sit outside in a chair and even walk down to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Lots of cute coffee places and restaurants within easy walking distance, altho there are some hills. Whale watch with AML was fun. Whale museum was informative. Light hikes/ walks along the shoreline. If you take the bus, note there are no taxis in town to go to the hillside bus stop. You can walk, but it might be too strenuous for some. There may be others but I am only sure that a shuttle is offered to guests of the historic Hotel Tadoussac. Really enjoyed coffee on the sunny porch of Abri Côtier, very close to Hotel Tadoussac. Food was good at Chez Mathilde and there was music the night I went. Cafe Bohème had a good mussel/frites dish. Located next door to the only supermarket I found. Cooler in Tadoussac than in Quebec City.

There's not much here, but for a 2-night stay it was perfect, centered between La Malbaie, Tadoussac and most importantly, L'Anse St Jean which was our jump off point for a fjord/whale cruise/tour. Take a minute to sit at the quai at Port-au-Persil. Just a beautiful place and you might even see belugas if lucky. We were close enough to be able to go to both Tadoussace and to La Malbaie for supper. A stop at the Fromagerie St-Fidèle is worth your time... fresh curds, every day!

The best place to get accommodated if there are less options at Tadoussac. It is calm, safe and perfectly surrounded with all the essentials like gas station, grocery shops, pharmacy, restaurants, ice-cream shops, etc. It's well-accessible from both Tadoussac and Saguenay. Staying here provides a great alternative to reach Quebec City (via Saguenay) especially when the ferry (route 138) at Tadoussac takes so long.

What we liked most was the location (close to whale watching departure point in Baie-Saint-Catherine), the cleanliness of the place (rooms, kitchen and lounge), the genuine kindness and helpfulness of the hosts. Although we enjoyed the breakfast, it was on the sweet side (it would be nice with some protein options ie. hard boiled eggs, cheese, and non-canned fruit options),

The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom.

The cottage was cute, with upstairs loft bedroom. It was too close to ferry. Restaurant was awful. Someone just walked into our cottage in the middle of the afternoon; on another day, someone was peering in our window. If you miss the ferry, you have to wait 4 hrs in a town with nothing to do, hence going to "explore" cottages., while people are staying there. If you want to do anything "exciting", you have to go back to Quebec City or go to Tadoussac. NOTHING TO DO IN ST-SIMEON

Baie Sainte-Catherine is a remote area reached by a highway with extreme grades and a lot of turns. It's popular with tourists for challenging hiking and whale-watching. Most of the accommodations are older and basic; les Chalets de la Colline is the best place to stay. There is only one small Co-op grocery store. If you like nature and have all of your provisions with you, this is a great place to explore and unwind.
