We had a fabulous stay at the Inn. It is in a fantastic location across from the harbour. Easy to walk to all amenities and a great place to do drives across the Island. The hosts keep a spotless inn and we loved the different breakfasts each morning. Our favourite place to stay on our trip across eastern Canada. We hope we can come back.

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely boutique hotel in the best location of the town. It is difficult for me to find right words to say how touched and gratefull I am for all the staff performance. They are dedicated, polite, smiling and always keen to assist the guests. The interior design and decarion are really attractive. I had a very bad experience upon arrival at the airport by swoop flight and my luggage was not delivered, I left the airport frustrated and angry, but these amazing people at the reception really helped me, they did their best to accomodate me earlier than usual check in time. I really enjoyed the free tea coffe in lobby and drink in happy hours. Breakfast items were limited but very healthy and fresh. As a frequent traveler, I rarely rate a hotel 10 out 10, but this time The Great Goeroge really deserve it. A big thank you to Manager and hotel team.Appreciated.

The couple that own and run this property are wonderful. Arrived late, they made us reservation at a local restaurant. And even provided us with coffee, which we had forgotten, and the local market was closed. Rustic, cabin-like rooms, but exceptionally clean. We highly recommend a stay here.

Prince Edward Island was much bigger than expected so a long weekend was not enough time to see the entire island. Charlottetown was the place to stay on the island for both accommodations, restaurants, and things to do. Loved the trip and will definitely go back to finish the island.

Easy access to the beautiful grounds to walk the dog! Close to everything (45 minutes) to Charlottetown but not so busy! Water view! Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! We were in an off-season, so a lot of places were closed. We mainly wanted to see the famous beach and it was great! It was clear that Cavendish is really a summer tourist's town. We also enjoyed a very nice view of a bay, walking along a long wooden sidewalk, nearby at North-Rustico. It is very easy to see all the main attractions all on Cavendish Drive. People were friendly and many were saying hello!

This is one of the nicer areas of the island.

This is one of the nicer areas of the island. The beach is spectacular and you can walk for miles along the beach! It is also fairly calm and safe for swimming as it is fairly shallow for quite a distance out. Close by, by car, there is a cute ice cream, coffee cafe, picnic area which was very handy, as well as a grocery store and right beside it, a fabulous bakery which also sells coffees and has tables outside! All in all, a wonderful visit.

We loved the size of the room, the cleanliness, the great sheets, good-looking bed-spreads, soft new blankets, and very comfortable mattresses. The towels were plentiful and sparkling white. The microwave and mini-fridge worked very well, as did the television. It was also reassuring to have a tuck shop adjacent to the motel for snacks, drinks, etc. The fact that we had requested a toaster, and received one immediately was a much appreciated extra. Thank you kindly. The motel was so very convenient to our trip, right on the highway. We lost no time at all as it was easy to find and very attractive from the road.

we were literally 5 minutes from town. has a view of the ocean and farmland.racehorses for neighbors! restaurants, grocery store gas all within 5 minutes drive. plus, deep sea fishing just down the road from all that! we toured almost the whole island in 5 days! everywhere you go is a view of something cool. we saw the northern lights and the perseids from our backyard! but the beaches are so dark at night, you get a better view. and they are easy to get to.Felix was a great host and I hope I get back there again!!!!!!

Charlottetown is a beautiful city representative of the best of Maritime coastal city architecture, scenery and culture. In October, it is resplendent in autumn colours. Throughout the summer and fall, it is visited by one to three cruise ships daily. Its live performance theatres are thriving and its restaurants are ready to offer the best in traditional Maritime seafood. Don't miss out on the lobster, shellfish and seafood chowder dinners, or the excellent locally brewed beers.

Our visit to Summerside was nothing short of delightful.

Our visit to Summerside was nothing short of delightful. This charming town perfectly captures the spirit of Prince Edward Island—peaceful, picturesque, and full of friendly faces. Whether you're strolling along the boardwalk by the sparkling water, enjoying local seafood, or browsing quaint shops and galleries, there's a laid-back, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. We especially loved how close everything was—beaches, restaurants, and beautiful scenic spots were all just minutes away. The views of the harbor were stunning, especially at sunset. Summerside offers the perfect mix of small-town charm and coastal beauty, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. If you’re planning a trip to PEI, don’t miss the chance to spend some time in Summerside—you’ll leave feeling refreshed and already planning your return!
