CanadaLoved everything about the stay!! Beds are amazing. Room is a great size and has amazing a/c for our scorching summer days. Also, do not have far of a walk to the indoor pool even if you have the farthest room. Hot tub hours are 24/7 and in a beautiful, secluded spot for privacy and can actually have fun and be loud. The pool hours are great! 10am to 9pm, as well as both the pool and hot tub are very clean! Never tried the sauna, but it looks like it would fit 2 people comfortably.

The house is spotless, tastefully decorated and has all amenities required for an enjoyable stay and is only a short walk to the center of town. Kevin and Lesley make you feel right at home and almost part of the family and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. They provide a delicious breakfast, all homemade and even share their family recipes with you. Breakfast time is very enjoyable and not rushed as Kevin and Lesley take time to engage with all the guests and the conversation flows. Kevin is very knowledgeable of the history of the surrounding area and with recommendations for thing to do all over Nova Scotia. I would highly recommend a stay at the Lark and Loon.

The Inn keeper was very nice and accommodating. She had a talent for Interiors and particularly all the artwork at the Inn. Her place was impeccable and comfortable. It was located a wonderful little town. Suzan, the Inn keeper, made several recommendations that were spot on. The gardens on the property were wonderfully done and easy to enjoy.

Greensboro in was such a nice stay. It looks like your run of the mill motel from the outside, but the interior of the rooms were really nice, comfortable and well thought out. The shower had great water pressure and, after being in hotels and Airbnb's for the last month with varying shower quality, it was much appreciated.

The host is terrific! So helpful in sharing tourist information. Helped make the reservation for whale watching. Even on departure we were given tips on our next stop and the route there. The little house id well equipped, modern, comfortable beds, ample space, secluded, great porch and unprecedented view on the bay!

Beautiful, small, crowded university town on the very edge...
Beautiful, small, crowded university town on the very edge of farming country. There is an Apple u-pick right in the town and several farmer’s markets. There are expensive restaurants, a couple of grocery stores, some nice small town stores like a consignment shop, for clothes,along with some basic small town stores and some cultural venues associated with the university.

We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location...
We only had 2 days in the area and wanted a central location and New Minas was perfect. Wolfville is just down the road & there were several places to visit there (Grand Pre, Tangled Gardens) but found it too crowded and busy. The second day was spent visiting small towns (Kentville, Port Williams, Centreville, Canning) in the country side (cheese stores, craft breweries, antique shops as well as the Bay of Fundy. Drove to Hall's Harbour for supper (lobster roll) and were home before dark. It's easy to get around New Minas and area and this motel is on the main strip where all the usual restaurants are and Tim Horton's is just across the street.

We were just passing through and found a reasonably priced...
We were just passing through and found a reasonably priced motel (Orchard Queen Motel and RV Park). We ate at the Capitol pub which was fine..my wife loved the chowder. The next day we decided to stay in the general area and came back to the same motel for a second night. Middleton seemed like an interesting town but we didn’t look around

Canning is a small town and is perfect to get away from the crowded streets of Wolfville which is a short drive away. We ate at Dickie-Baxter Taproom and were impressed with the quality of the meal. I want to return to try Cider House Fish and Chips and the Artistic restaurant next door. If it was summer, we would have walked to the ice cream shop down the street. It's like a walk back in time . . With really good food

A great place to stay for a wedding at The Tangled Garden and a subsequent visit post wedding in the sunshine!
Very close to Wolfville for local shopping and bars and restaurants.
Just to say we must say a huge thank you to Don at the Beach Breeze Motel. Not only was he an excellent host, he helped us out with Lateral flow tests on Monday, when the wedding party tested positive for Covid. They are available from the public library but it’s closed on Mondays.

We liked the restaurants and pubs, wineries, local markets, taking in all the beautiful scenery and local tourist attractions. The food we had at Troy and the Library Pub was awesome. Loved all the seafood and varieties, as well as the different ways of preparation.
We felt that the Stella Rose should be rated 4 out of 5 rather than 3 out of 5. The breakfasts were wonderful and very enjoyable.

We needed a place to stay the night when visiting my 91 year...
We needed a place to stay the night when visiting my 91 year old Uncle. Even thou we only came from Truro the drive is just to long for my mother and myself. This is a trip that my mother and I have been making for the past few years once a year in the fall. The last two years we have stayed at this same Motel, it's clean, friendly staff and close.

The Farmer's market was fabulous with the music, the town crier, lovely variety of shops, and the beautiful location of the town. The museum of a few homes was very interesting to see as well as the fort and the gardens. Lots of small shops were welcoming. The benches along the shore to watch the sunset was popular. The town was clean and very attractive.
