- From US$79.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,722 reviewsWe stayed at Hotel Kaylaka to celebrate International Women's day,and it was an absolutely amazing experience! I had been planning our visit for quite some time, as the hotel is the only one that offers a room with an included sauna, and it didn't dissapoint. The hotel is fantastic - clean, spacious, and sunny with a fresh and pleasant scent ( likely due to their non-smoking policy). We were in love with the spacious sauna, and the king-size bed exceeded our expectations, providing the perfect comfort for a relaxing night.Guest review byMariaFinland
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 146 reviewsSituated near the river Danube, the hotel has a splendid view to the nature. The rooms are bigger then as we expected, comfortable and clean. Even if we arrived late, they manage to give us a wonderful and delicious dinner. The beds are good, bathroom clean, the breakfast good, too. The staff was very helpful all the time.Guest review byCsabaRomania

A lovely town for a one night stop over on my Bulgarian road...
A lovely town for a one night stop over on my Bulgarian road trip. I would have liked to stay longer just for the hotel, The Theatre Hotel,, which was wonderful. If I had had more time, I would have stayed another night so I could have explored the surrounding area. The town centre was small enough to explore in a day. A large number of restaurants to choose from and I chose the Kahane Food Club, recommended by my hotel manager, which was exceptional. My only criticism is the fact that smoking is still allowed and albeit in a separate section it stills comes into the non-smoking area. It also appears, across Bulgaria, that the smokers get the best areas of the restaurants to dine. My only problem was that I arrived in the late afternoon and needed to head off in the morning but I did push that out as late as I could.Guest review byAndrewNew Zealand - 6.0

To be honest there's nothing much in the town, everything closes at 19.00hrs except for 2 bars/restaurants (opposite each other) which aren't anything special tbh. What the town is useful for, as a traveller, is the close proximity to some wonders of the world, very central to many caves and trails in the area to be explored.Guest review bynickUnited Kingdom - 6.0
Kaylaka park was lovely .
Kaylaka park was lovely . We went in the little zoo for 2 levs which is about 60p . The bears were wonderful to see . Lots of cafes in the park and restaurants if you get hungry . Went out to see bat caves about a hr away , they were huge and interesting . There were waterfalls near by but it was such a wet day we didn’t get chance to see them . The town centre is lovely with its colourful buildings and fountains , these light up at night into beautiful colours . Again plenty of outdoor restaurants and shopping areas . Quite cheap to eat out compared to many European countries .Guest review byKimUnited Kingdom - 10.0
