1. It is very close to Pairi Daiza Zoo.
2. On arrival at 10PM, the Chef cooked a michellen standard candle lit dinner for us with a fantastic selection of wines, spirits and cocktails.
3. All the bread, Cakes, cookies, Crossaints etc are baked fresh daily on site.
4. There is a beautiful Terrace.
5. Breakfast area, Lounge area, Children’s play area and the dining area were very cosy and stylish.
6. Fantastic and friendly staff.
7. Spacious room with a beautiful bath with nice shampoo, plenty of towels and piping hot water.
8. Afforadble - I personally thought an experience like this should cost a lot more! Perhaps double or triple the amount.
9. This hotel is Baby friendly! Huge effort was taken to make sure the baby was safe, warm, happy and taken care of.
10. The coffee was exceptional and that helped the next morning after the few drinks ;)

DenmarkWe have stayed at the hotel for 1 week. We really enjoyed our staying and we were glad that we chose this hotel in Mons. The hotel is situated close to the main sights within a short walking distance.
Our room was modern and spacious.
The breakfast was with a big variety of different dishes.
We have visited the restaurant at the hotel in the evening 5 times and we liked both the food and a special vibe which is there. We really wanted to come back to enjoy tasty dishes and a pleasant atmosphere.
Parking at the hotel free of charge is another advantage.
The employees of the hotel and restaurant were attentive and gave us a positive welcoming.
We would definitely like to come back.

United KingdomWe chose this place as a base location to travel around by motorcycles, 30 mins from mons, 30 from Valenciennes and some absolutely gorgeous hidden gems so easily accessible. We didn’t eat at the restaurant due to husbands complex dietary requirements but the room and breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast was set out each morning by a lovely lady who always checked we had everything we needed and cleaned our room each day.

The windows offer nice views over the town and the choice to upgrade rooms is brilliant. Very polite and friendly staff, helpful and nice. A very decent destination for a weekend in its own right, it can also serve as a base for things like battlefield exploration (Waterloo, the WW1 Western Front, some of Marlborough's campaigns). If you choose to make it a base for car trips, remember to set your SatNav to "avoid motorways" - it's beautiful countryside if you stick to the smaller roads. I detected no 'edge' to the place at all, no bad behaviour, no vagrants or beggars. This matters since it's a lovely place to explore entirely on foot. Multiple great and casual eating facilities and new grocerystore nearby. The animal park is astonishing, the best one I have ever been to, absolutely worth the visit even without kids. Especially in spring when everything is blooming. The fauna goes without saying but also the plants and flowers are wonderful as well as the architecture, taken to the perfection. Lovely hotel, good modern restaurant with very good food, good well kept grounds, plenty carpark spaces with cctv. Excellent service for breakfast & evening meal. We've been to Mons twice and both times it seemed a bit 'grey'. If you're from the UK, the potholes in the roads will make you feel at home. The best bits are the Lago swimming pool with brilliant slides and a whirlpool which kids absolutely love. Just make sure you're wearing the regulation swimming gear. No baggy shorts allowed. We had to buy new ones last year and used them again on this trip. The most moving aspect which we came to see previously and visited again this time was the site of the first day of WW1 and the memorial to Maurice Dease and Sidney Godley VCs under the Nimy railway bridge. The final resting place of Lt Dease is the St Symphorien Military Cemetery, just outside of Mons. The central square in Mons is the place to go for dining out. The decoration is outstanding.
The decoration is outstanding. You feel like being on a beautiful yacht or at the sea side. There was a very warm welcome by the host and the breakfast was exceptional. The hotel is 100% clean in each corner. The fridge has lot of beverage that you can take without cost. I have visited the three rooms of the hotel and they are all beautiful. It's not a big town, but a lot has happened in Mons over the centuries, especially the last 150 years. We didn't find a lot of well-presented tourist interest but we found it easy to explore on foot.
