We had a superior king room which we liked a lot. It was spacious and well kept. The bath room is large with sufficient hot water. The room was cleaned every day. The bed is big and comfertable. In the evening we could just bearly hear music from a bar/dancing in the neigbourhood but it did not bother us at all. We liked the pool area a lot. It was clean and tranquil and the bartender at the pool was very helpfull and kind. His cocktails are 🍸🍹😋 All the staff were very kind and very helpfull. I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship and I only had 2 nights. I thought there would be more shopping and restaurants and such … but it was either super high end jewelry or tourist trinkets. Obviously most people go out to the resort hotels. For my purposes it was fine … my hotel was nice, with good facilities and I did a nice island tour. While one might think Noord may be too far from the action and the beaches, they'd be wrong. Other than the Baby beach area everything is within 10-15 min drive. If a car rental is not in the cards, or you love constant hustle and bustle, then I suggest staying in town . Loved waking up to the view of the water as you walk out of the room! There are restaurants within short walking distance. The Flying Fishbone was great! The swimming pool for this property could extend their pool times. During our stay, it closed at 6:00 pm each day. I feel this is very early, especially for the summer, and folks vacationing. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. The water is sparkling clean, the azure color is breathtaking, it not too busy , it is spacious snd relaxing. There are so many restaurants within walking distance. The super market is 2 minutes away. Palm beach just a few minutes by car or by scooters . Water sports are available everywhere. The apartement in Savaneta was great for privacy and relaxation. When you want to get to the busy tourist areas and beaches it is not difficult. Tip: buy some day bus passes at the Oranjestadt Arubus terminal. They are 10USD for each pass for the whole day. Zee Rovers restaurant is great for fresh catch of the day fish and or shrimp. Nice place to eat and hang out right at the waterfront. Sushi factory also good in Savaneta, likewise House of Cakes. Car rentals are a little pricey for a single person. However the Arubus takes you almost all places along the Aruba main road. I think bicycling would be a little dangerous with lots of cars zipping by.Guest review byHughCanada - 10.0

The Noord section of Aruba is excellent... Sergio's place in Malmok was phenomenal... He upgraded our condo to the one with the jacuzzi, which was magical. The property was gorgeous on its face but the jacuzzi added the perfect finish.. Decor, location...everything was a chef's kiss. Sergio was easy to communicate with and hella accommodating.
